National Treasure Review

My husband and I really enjoyed the first one, so we were glad to hear about the sequel.  We took our four year old son (who has since turned five!) to see the second one, and he loved it too!  He now wants to play "National Treasure Game" (a scavenger hunt!) around our house with his Daddy!

I really enjoyed both of these movies.  As they are both similar overall, it's hard to separate them.  In my opinion Nicolas Cage is at his best while doing comedy.  His acting, and the whole storylines, made for a fun exciting adventure.  As a Mom I especially appreciated the fact that they were CLEAN movies, with no "bad words" and no s-e-x that I needed to keep my son from watching.

I admit they might stretch the limits of reality and credulity a little, but hey--that's part of the fun of movies!  I already own the first one on DVD, and am anxiously waiting for the release of the second one--it will DEFINITELY be added to our collection.
