as good and maybe better than the first

a movie buff, an infrequent movie goer, waiting for the DVD, sci-fi, into action flicks, adventure, a comedy fan

Pros

new actors, same actors, non-stop action, Cage, breezes along, comic attitude, cool technology, CLEAN--no bad words or s-e-x

I never went to see the first one; it just never struck me as one I would be interested in seeing it. Then I saw it several times on TV, and I was hooked. The real history mixed in with non-real so famously it seemed like they belonged together. The action and comedy was well blended. I was always ready to see National Treasure on TV again and again no matter how many times I saw it, which I think was at least 4 times. When I heard there was a second one coming out, I knew I had to see it. It was a great time in the theater. I wonder if there will a third National Treasure. Now I am really looking forward to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. As far as Nicholas Cage is concerned, I really enjoyed him in both National Treasures, and he was also really good in It Could Happen To You.
