I went to see National Treasure: Book of Secrets the day it came out.  Despite what you might see in the trailers and it's name... the movie isn't about the Book of Secrets.  That's only a small part of the movie.  My husband saw the previews and thought the movie would be really cheesy, but after seeing it, his opinion changed.  It was much better than what I was expecting.  There was plenty of action, a good bit of comedy (thanks to Riley), drama, romance, and, of course, treasure.

I don't want to give away the ending, but I wouldn't be surprised if you hear of another National Treasure movie in a few years.  The writers definitely left the movie open ended.  If you enjoyed the first movie, I would recommend seeing this one.  It's not quite as good (most sequels aren't) but it is still worth the money you spend.

Keep in mind though, the movie is two hours long... so don't drink too much and make sure you use the bathroom before you go in.  Also, the movie is still a little bit cheesy.  The clues were much easier to figure out and, on occasion, the actors got a little stupid (not their fault).  For example, they walk into a room where there is a large wheel that you think should be turned, but they walk around for 5 minutes trying to figure out how to close the door.  But hey, every movie has it's pros and cons.  Enjoy!
