No matter who your favorite driver is you can stay up to date with the latest news in Nascar. Not just the cup series but also the 2 other series in Nascar. In 2008 there are many changes going on in Nascar. The Top series will be named the Sprint Cup after being named the Nextel cup for the past few years. After 26 years as the Busch Series another change comes into play in 2008, now it will Be called the Nationwide Series sponsored by Nationwide Insurance. The Craftsman Truck Series will enjoy their last year in 2008, a new sponsor for that series has yet to be announced.

Budweiser will no longer be the "Official Beer of Nascar", In 2008 Coors will take over that sponsorship. Many drivers have also decided to change teams for 2008, Dale Jr. goes to Hendricks, Kyle Bush goes to Gibbs and many more have changed as well. There are other things to do besides read about drivers or get race results.

You can buy tickets to the races, arrange for hotels and air fare too. A link at the top will guide you to the tickets. They also offer other things to do when you do go to the race, including attractions near the race venue for that race.

Nascar has the "Superstore" where you can buy memorabilia for your favorite driver. By shopping at their store you earn "Nascar race points" Which can be redeemed for items in their store. Some of those include hats, jackets, tailgate accessories, even Driver experiences! Yes you can spend your points to meet nascar drivers. Those are pretty high on the points list, but hey....it can be done.

If you have a Bank of America credit card (special edition) you can also get Nascar race points for all your purchases. They gave me 2500 points when I applied for mine. I have the Dale Jr edition of their Nascar credit card and they have great rates as well. So when I shop at nascar.com I get double points!!!!!

Other sites have racing information but they cover all the different types of racing. Nascar.com is strictly for nascar news. They have blogs and forums that you can join in on and talk with others about your favorite driver. Trackpass is another feature on nascar.com where for a small fee you can follow your driver live during a race. You get all the stats for your driver and the rest of them too.Such as lap speed, position, rpm's even how far ahead or behind they are from other drivers.

Bottom line

If your a follower of nascar like I am you will enjoy the site immensely. Even if your not a fan but are curious about the sport, nascar.com is a great place to get information. Have a Nascar Nut on your Christmas list or want to buy a present for them? Then nascar.com is a place to do just that. So if your favorite phrase is "Drive fast and turn left" or "I am not Tailgating I am Drafting" then nascar.com is your kind of place.
