Nalgene WideMouth Lexan bottles are tough. They can take getting dropped, kicked, tossed on a long hike. They are easy to put ice into because of their wide mouths. They are easy to clip onto a backpack with a carabiner. They take hot water or cold water, which makes them handy for backpacking. They fit well on a variety of water purifiers for the backcountry. They don't puncture like soft side waterbottles. I take mine with me during most of my activities including trail running, hiking, and walking around town. I like that I don't have to buy water bottles that will go in the landfill.
