I'm familiar with the Naked Brothers Band, but I heard this song while watching the Teen Nick Award Show...First before the REAL reason I don't agree that this song is available...let me just say:: I'm confused on where the 'talent' is?!  It was awful and I don't see how their parents allowed them to perform such a song...even more surprised that the Nick network allowed it, knowing the target demographic is kids...IN SCHOOL!  Yes, we know..kids sometimes don't care for school...but I'm against parents who will buy this for their children bc it promotes a negative message .. these… read full review »

To start off my 10 year old son loves this show all the time and watches it on Nick.So of course that brought this album/song to my attention.I happen to watch Nick with my 4 year old in the mornings so I seen the video for I don't wanna go to school and I sat there with my mouth open! The song was awful and it was sending a NEGATIVE message to children! And the worse part was that it was stuck in my head all day! I don't know much about the Naked Brothers band, except that they have a show on Nickelodean and they are annoying! My kids love to watch Mickelodean during the day, but we've started to watch the Disney Channel a lot more because of the Naked Brothers Band commercial! They play the song "I don't want to go to school" ALL THE TIME! Enough is enough! Not only is it a bad message for little kids, the child screams the song, he doesn't sing! When i heard this song i could not believe what i was hearing.My son was listening to it on TV when I had walked by. I don't actually own this cd, and no way would I ever own it because of the lyrics I heard from the title song. I have heard the song on Nick and on numerous commercials promoting the cd. I was glad to see other reviews on this cd, and to see that I wasn't the only one who felt this way. Of course, most kids don't want to go to school, but they don't need kids that they look up to singing negatively about it. When I heard about the "I dont wanna go to school" song of the Naked Brothers Band on Nickelodeon, I was shocked!  Why would anybody write a song like that, and even publicized it?!  Yes, the music and the lyrics may be catchy and "sing-able", but the message is horrible.  Yes, sometimes, kids need to express their emotions and feelings (even if its about school), but music influence our minds and thoughts.  And we cannot have our young generation listening to this kind of music because it will influence them in a negative way.  — — … read full review »
