Surprisingly works well!

I decided to try Nair because it looked painless. I was not sure if it would work, and I was pleasantly surprised when it did! It does not smell very good. It also makes me nervous to use, because it can be messy and I do not want to get hair remover somewhere I want to keep hair! Effectiveness It works very well and quickly too. I was very happy by the results, however they did not last very long. Scent Nair does smell terrible, however it does not have to be on long, and I usually shower right away after to make sure that I have correctly rinsed off all of the Nair.

This product does not ever work for me

1

I don't know if it's because I have coarse hair but this product will not work for me. I have tried using it many times and I never get results I am looking for. When I use to try to remove facial hair, my skin always starts to burn just a minute or two after applying and when I remove immediately I have horrible red blotches and burns. My skin feels like it is on fire and will soak the irritated area with a cold rag. No hair is ever successfully removed as the product claims it can do. It is not an effective hair removal product for me because I have sensitive skin and coarse hair. This product has a terrible smell that I hate. Effectiveness I do not experience any results for hair removal with this product. Absolutely worthless in my opinion. The only thing this product does for my skin is leave bumps and irritation for days. Scent This product stinks and makes my skin has an unpleasant smell even after removing it.

"Burned" my skin!

3

Normally I don't use hair removal creams but I've tried them before and out of the ones that are on the market, I heard that Nair was the best. One night I used it on my legs and left it on for the recommended amount of time but when I went to go clean it off, it's almost as if it chemically "burned" my skin. I was bleeding in little spots everywhere. It almost looked like a rash but worse. Maybe I need to try the sensitive Nair. While it did remove all of the hair and keep it off for a while, it was super harsh.

Stay away from this product!

I can't give Nair Hair Removal Products more than a 2/10. There are so many different types of Nair, but none of them work very well. For starters, Nair has the worst smell I've ever smelt! It burns your eyes and burns your skin. You're left with red, irritated, itchy skin. You don't even get a chance to see how well Nair works because your skin is burning! I have sucked it up to see if it actually works, and it does work a little bit. I have found it leaves patches of hair, though. I do not recommend this product at all!

It's Okay

I have heard so many tragic tales about people's use of Nair and I was really hesitant to give it a try. I was honestly tired of getting shaving bumps and scars on my bikini area and wanted to not have stubble come back the next day. So I read the directions and left it on my bikini area for 5 minutes I experienced no burning or irritation and then I began to wipe it off. You have to use a bit of force when removing the Nair because just wiping won't do so you have to apply a little pressure and when you do the hair will come off. I had a couple of stray hairs left behind but they were very minor so I was able to just deal with it. I didn't have any hairs go back in until about 3 days later and when they did grow back they grew in alot fine than usual and that was a plus. I tried Nair on my arms and legs but I didn't like it there because it cause me to break out, so those areas were more sensitive than my bikini area where I was sure I was gonna encounter problems.

save your time and just shave

So, like every other woman out there, I hate to shave.  I have tried everything from razors to laser.  Nair does take hair off, but it won't get all of it, so you're still stuck shaving what the Nair left behind.. so long story short, skip the hassle of Nair and just shave. It smells pretty rough, even the ones with nice scents like fruit or vanilla - there's no getting past that chemical smell.  then you have to cake the stuff on and leave it for at least a good 10 minutes - not very convenient.  It also has the tendency to make your skin burn a little bit.  (I've never been brave enough to try my bikini area.. only my legs.  and since it didn't do a good job on my legs, I never tried any other areas) Once you wipe it off you're still left with the lingering odor of Nair.  and as far as the hair it DOES remove.. it comes back just as quickly as when you shave. Bottom line...... skip nair.  It's not worth it!

I feel like this product is one of the best out their. I mean if your on the go like me you dont always have time to grab a razor and get your body wet. This is one of the best things I have ever tried. If you shave you always have bumps or cuts or your going to have to shave your legs the next day. With Nair you get up to three weeks of soft legs. Now you can even get various types to accomedate your skin and texture. One of my favorites would have to be the bekini remover and the under arm sinsitive skin with a nice scent of cucumber melon. They have various smells to fit your own accomedations. Another thing I love about Nair is the fact that it dont cost that much and you can strech the product to fit your needs. I know when I go to shave I always have to worry about if its warm enough to so I wont get chill bumps and cut my self. Also I have to look to see if the razor is sharp enough and do I have shave cream. Then when Its time to buy the razors its always something to it, I might have to run to like three differient stores before I would even find the brand to fit my razor. So I am personaly saying that I feel that Nair is the best thing out their. When you travle do you really want to worry about finding a razor or do you just want to grab for a bottle of Nair. This is also a way better product becuse it doesnt even burn its easy to use its made to accomidate you. All you have to do is put it on let it sit for about two minuts then wipe it off.

works great

It works really well. I had to buy a bottle when my razor died on me. Then when I got a new razor, the razor didn't take the hair off and I went back to nair. The only thing I don't like is the smell.

no razors cuts

NAIR  Nair is the safe way to shave. If you have ever gotten those nasty cuts or red razor bumbs that when you go to the beach and get into the water, and where you have shaved just burns like the dickens, then nair is for you.        A couple of months ago i was shaving my legs standing up (not to smart) when i pulled the razor up my chin bone , and to the skin off about 5 inches.Wow did that hurt and bleed holy cow I jumpedout of the shower jumping up and down screaming with the blood flowingdown my leg. My husband came running in to see what all the screaming was about and when he saw what I had done, he nearly got sick.Thats when isaid no more to razors! I have always heard of nair but never tried it, but that was about to change.      THe next time I went shopping I found the product nair and read the directions. Wow how easy was appling this cream to my legs for 5 minutes, test a spot and see if it was taking the hair off. So i bought it . About a week and a half later ( when my leg was healed) I gave nair a try, i just applied the cream to my legs and did the dishes while the cream was let say shaving my legs. I was killing to birds with one stone how cool was that. When i was done with the dishes i went into the bathroom and took alittle stop off to see if the nair was working, and to my surprize it was! So I jumped into the shower and rinced my legs off it took about 2 minutes a leg to get all the cream off with the hair. My legs felt so smooth after words that was very nice to experience,I didn't know that would happened how soft my legs where. When I told my husband to feel them he was quite in pressed, and happy not to see all that blood too.           So ladies I give nair 2 thumbs up give it a try you won't be disappointed.                                           bernay

an ok product

I'm an Italian girl so I've got some hair- it's coarse, thick, black, and hard to get rid of. I've had waxers literally tell me to my face that they've never seen hair so thick on a female before- very good for the ego. Anyways, I've tried every kind of hair removal product there is, and this one is an ok one. I usually use it for my arms, and lower back hair. It doesn't work too well on the legs (too thick), or the bikini line. It doesn't really work on my facial hair either. You have to be very time conscious when you use Nair, because it has burned my skin before. I usually leave it on for 8 minutes, so that it's still under the 10 minute limit. Most of the hair comes off, but if you spread it on too thin an area, you'll have to shave it later. You have to apply a generous amount in order to remove all the hair. If you have thin hair, you're in luck. If you have annoyingly thick hair like me, you get to join me on my frustrating search for products that work.
