Nair is a name that I have always known. I have tried a few of their products over the years and have never been completely satisfied. So when I first saw the Shower Power I was not expecting much. I tried it when it first came out and didn't like it. I don't like to throw things away so I hung onto it. My husband and I moved into a small apartment with a small shower a few months ago and it is hard to move around in it. I just tried the Nair shower cream again and am more disappointed than ever.

The directions on the bottle say that you should apply a generous amount of cream to legs, leave on for at least 3 min, and wash off with water. It says it "works while you shower".

The first time I tried the product, I followed the directions exactly. I put on the cream, got in the shower and took it off at the end of the shower. When I went to take off the product, I realized it was harder than I thought it was going to be. It took me a good 3 minutes at the end of my shower to take the rest of it off. I could have taken the time it took to apply and remove the cream to apply shower gel and use a razor.

The last time I used it (earlier today), I tried applied the cream to my legs and realized my hands needed to be washed. I tried to wash them with water, but it didn't work. I tried soap and water, didn't work. I had to get a wet towel, soap, and had to scrub for a couple of minutes in order to clean them. The same thing happened with my legs. To make matters worse, it made my legs burn and itch. After I finally got as much as I could off my legs and hands, I felt my legs to see if it even worked. The hair was shorter but I could still feel stubble all over both legs.

After using the Nair hair remover that was supposed to work in the shower, my legs still have stubble, and it left a strong after smell (Tropical) that is not very pleasant. I have wasted a lot of time applying and removing the cream and not seeing satisfying results.

When it comes to Nair shower power, give me a razor anytime!
