Yes, it is official. I am addicted to Triscuits and there is no one in my office that will argue with me on that one. I try not to give people dirty looks when I see them eating any one of the four boxes that we usually have in stock... yes it is that bad! But, I always seem to be the first one to open the box and the last one to throw it away. Does that mean I ate the entire thing myself?!
It could be the combination of flakey, salty, crunchyness and the 8 pounds of hummus I dunk each cracker in but I think it is just the cracker. It's a little thicker than your average cracker and can certainly...
read full review »When the reduced fat version of Nabisco Triscuits is available in my area stores, I buy 'em up two at a time, just because I know I'm going to polish off, all by myself (!), one whole box directly! I love this crispy salty cracker, and would rather have a Triscuit, just plain, no condiments, than potato chips or even popcorn.
Heaven help me if the reduced fat version can't be found because I'm certainly not above tossing the full-flavored Triscuits into the grocery cart, and thus we enter into the big-fat-grams arena.
If you love crunch and prefer salty, I think there's a whole lot going for this...
read full review »I am a huge snacker, but also love to choose healthy crackers and Nabisco - Triscuits are one of my favorites. Each square is made of crunchy, shredded wheat with a lot of flavor. These crackers are perfect plain, but are even better topped with cheese, dips, or jam. These crackers are baked, but have a great texture because they are crunchy without being very hard. I like the plain crackers the best, but they also come in a variety of great flavors that include: rye, garden herb, reduced fat, roasted garlic, rosemary and olive oil, roasted tomato, and cracked pepper with olive oil. Each...
read full review »I honestly eat Triscuits everyday. And I can honestly say when I first started eating them, I did not like them but I made myself eat them anyway. I will admit, I have a small addiction to eating healthy. So when looking for a cracker to eat with my tuna for lunch, I looked for the one with whole grains, fiber, lower fat and hopefully some taste. Triscuit met all of these requirements and even gave a variety of flavors. I wasn't a big fan of the super crunchy taste in the beginning, but have since gotten used to it. Besides the health factors, the biggest plus is the flavors. Have you even eaten...
read full review »The nuttiness and saltiness of Triscuits are a great combination. They're like Shredded Wheat cereal, only better! I like the original flavor best of all. They are baked, not fried like many snacks, and are a source of whole grains, so for a snack food, there is minimal guilt.
They are best with extra sharp Vermont cheddar cheese slices on top!
Triscuit reduced fat crackers are very good! If you like the regular ones, give these a try - you won't really notice much of a difference. I tend to grab these as a snack with a few slices of cheese. They taste just as good as the regular type and save you some calories and fat.
I LOVE Triscuits. Here are some ways I use them:
1. Reduced Fat Triscuits with yogurt for breakfast
2. Rosemary and Olive Oil Triscuits with cheese and deli meat for lunch or a snack.
