I love these cookies because they taste good and they are good to have for parties and that they are very affordable cookies. But i wouldn't serve them at something like a wedding though.

I was already a fan of regular Chips Ahoy, but when I found ones that also had chunks of real chocolate, I was hooked on them. The packages are sealed well initially, so they stay fresh in the store, and they can typically sit on the shelf without opening for quite awhile (the expiration date is usually quite awhile after the date that we buy them in the store). But they cannot be resealed after they are opened, so the cookies can dry out quickly. In addition, once the plastic tray is removed from the outside foil, it is very difficult to put back. But the taste of the cookies is delicious. They have a very good amount of chocolate in them, and they are never under cooked or burned. We often use them for snacks while traveling or deserts on picnics and camping trips. All around, I would highly recommend these cookies, although I would like to see Nabisco improve the packaging.

Nabisco - Chips Ahoy! Chunky - Real Chocolate Chunk Cookies taste great. I love the large chunks of chocolate in the cookies and the amount of chocolate chunks the cookies have. I am a chocolate lover and I love this snack. The sugar content is a bit high but the taste and flavor of the cookies is just right. The cookies have delicious chocolate chunks in almost every bite. They are not too hard or too soft and they do not crumble in my hands and leave crumbs everywhere as some other chocolate chip cookies have. I highly recommend this tasty snack. Yummy!

I wouldn't say I am a chocoholic. I like chocolate a lot just, not too often. It falls into the bracket of a sometimes craving that just appears on it's own. Chocolate chip cookies though, are hard to turn down. Especially Nabisco's Chips Ahoy! Chunky - Real Chocolate Chunk Cookies. The cookies themselves are something special. They are crunchy and good. They crumble just a little when you bite into them. They are not chewy which, is one thing I actually like the most about them. They could easily be compared to Famous Amos any day although, I don't really know which would win! The cookies appear to have chips as well as ultimate chocolate chunks in them. You seriously get a mouth full of chocolate in every bite. The chocolate tastes like milk chocolate as opposed to being a semi sweet variety. Doesn't matter either way, they are truly delicious. I honestly can't think of one bad thing about them. Except... the calories! Although they are not too bad I would recommend that this would be more of a some of the time selection. Maybe they could cut the calories and fat or, add fiber though. Most other companies are these days. Overall, I highly recommend them.

I absolutely love all things of the chocolate variety and I never say no to a cookie, so Nabisco's Chips Ahoy (Chunky) should meet all the criteria as a naughty, rewarding treat. On the contrary, these little darlings leave me just a tad deflated! You see, on the one hand, they look absolutely glorious. The square chocolate chunks are perfectly arranged on full display to get the mouth watering and the tummy grumbling however no sooner than you bite down onto the perfectly formed cookie that you realize it is somewhat of a dry biscuit which leaves you with the notion that perhaps, you left the packet open and forgot to close it. The presentation and flavor are definitely there, but the texture leaves a little to be desired. They are also somewhat expensive for a Scooby snack and if they were spot on, this would not be a problem. As they are however, I will have to drop the overall rating to a score of 9.

These cookies are very chocolatey and taste great if you microwave them and let them get a little bit melty. I still prefer the chewy variety but these are nice if you have a serious chocolate craving. They are very sweet so I think kids probably like them more than adults.

Chips Ahoy! Chunky isn't really any different from regular Chips Ahoy. The "chunks" are only slightly bigger than the regular "chips," and are simply a different shape (square instead of round). Chips Ahoy are crumbly and dry as soon as you open the bag. As I said in my regular Chips Ahoy review, for the same price and maybe even less you can go to the refrigerated dough section and make fresh cookies that taste homemade. I've never understood the appeal of these cookies. They are overpriced for what you get. They quality is poor in my opinion. If I'm going to go off the deep end and eat a high calorie, low nutrition treat, I want it to taste a lot better and be much more gratifying than these are.

For store-bought cookies, these are pretty good. The part I like best about them is the big chunks of chocolate in each cookie. I usually prefer homemade cookies because they are softer, but when I don't have time to cook, these are a good alternative. They also go well with milk (I like to dip them in milk because it softens them a little).

These Chocolate chunk cookies are a solid change from the original chocolate chip cookie. The chunk actually provides a more "real" flavor to the cookies. The original cookies taste a bit processed and the chocolate is the main reason. Enjoy these with milk and taste the difference.

Chips Ahoy has always been one of my favorites. They're extra chunky kind really stand out hard. The chocolate is soft and melts almost immediately when it hits your tongue. Thesr are great when heated in the microwave as well. A nice sweet snack. Great with milk too!
