Everyone loves cookies but I do not know anyone that can sit down with a pack of Chips Ahoy and only eat one. Kraft foods 100 calorie packs solve this problem. The 100 calorie packs are very easy to grab and pack into a lunch or a bag of snacks to take on the go. Unlike most 100 calorie packs you actually get a decent amount of cookies instead of just a taste. I love the fact that I can have an easy snack and not have to take the time to have to portion it out since I greatly lack self control around sweets. It is very easy to keep track of in your food diary since you know one pack is 100 calories and that is what most diets recommend for a snack. I like that unlike most calorie conscious products they taste great. This means that instead of having to buy a snack for myself and a snack for my picky son I can buy one product and make us both happy. The only reason I am giving this product a good rather than a very good is like most foods that are handy and readily prepared it is a lot more costly than just purchasing a pack of cookies and dividing them into portion packs yourself.

I originally purchased these packs for my husband for his lunches for work but I decided to sample them because he would never eat them! While they tasted exactly like the regular chips ahoy, the price point is definitely not worth it! Not to mention it's not like they made a special cookie for these calorie packs. They are exactly the same as the chips ahoy in the portable cups. Save yourself the money and but a big pack of chips ahoy and look at the nutrition facts on the back and just divide the cookies into plastic baggies yourself! I'd like to note that these cookies did not get a lower rating because of the taste, but because the marketing gimmick that somehow these cookies will help you stick to 100 calories while costing you way more! So no, I would not recommend these 100 calorie pack cookies to anyone. At least the cookies tasted good though. (By the way my husband would not eat anything with a "girly" label he said.)

Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps

Comments about Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps:

I do not like Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps. The thin crisps do not have a lot of thickness like the original and therefore the flavor is reduced. The cookies are way too thin and go away too quickly. The chocolate chips are so small that you cannot even taste them. It is as though the sugar has been tremendously reduced. I like that this product is a 100-calorie snack but I do not like the taste and the product quality that has been reduced in trying to make this a healthy snack.

The good and bad

Comments about Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps:

I have always liked Nabisco's 100 calorie packs. Mainly for their convenience. They come in their own little individual mini pouches and are great for picnics, on the go travel and school or work lunches. They also make for a great portion controlled after school before homework snack. They are not exactly like the Chips Ahoy Cookies though. They are very thin, like a cheese nip or a wheat cracker. The chips are more like chocolate smears. The thins have an overall essence of the original Chips Ahoy Cookies though. They taste similar. The actual texture and consistency of them is different. The only thing I don't like about this product and others like it is that because it says it's 100 calories, some people can take that to mean that it is healthy, especially my children. Truth be told, this still contains sugar and other non healthy products in their ingredients. This is simply portion controlled and it still has the potential to cause sugar spikes and rebound hunger as well. I recommend them in moderation.

Better than regular chips ahoy

Comments about Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps:

For some reason I really love the way these little cookies taste. They are more like cookie chips, they aren't just small cookies, they are thinner and flatter, but I think they have an excellent flavor. I also love the portion control. They're great for snacking on the go.

Miniature cookies not quite as good

Comments about Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps:

Regular chips ahoy cookies taste fake. When they are miniaturized, they taste even more processed. If you love chips ahoy, these are probably worth it, but there are definitely more ways to enjoy 100 calories than to eat these. Also, they are impossible to dunk!

seriously?

Comments about Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps:

I'm sorry, but Nabisco 100-Calorie Snack Packs are kind of ridiculous. First of all, every variety I've tried tastes like a tiny, dried up, over crunchy, bland version of the original snack it's supposed to represent. I don't really like Chips Ahoy to begin with, but these are really bad. If I'm going to be watching my calories that closely, I'd rather just eat 100 calories of something else more enjoyable. Why waste calories on something that's not even that good?

Nabisco ofeers another great snack!

Comments about Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps:

I, like everyone else probably, am watching my weight. Calories seem to be an important part of diet and sometimes keeping track can be hard. My issue has always been over indulging in sweets. When Nabisco came out with their 100 calorie packs I was so excited! Its hard to portion for myself so if someone else will do it for me, im all for it. I was a little hesitant on these Chips Ahoy cookies because most diet type cookies are not good. These Nabisco Chips Ahoy 100 Calorie packs are more like cookie chips but pack all of the flavor as the regular cookies. I do with they were a little thicker so I could dunk them in milk still. There aren't that many in a pack, so just know that. All in all I was very happy with this purchase and I would probably buy it again and recommend them to a friend. If you find a good coupon they can be worth your buy too, as they go on sale often and you will eat them quick ;)

taste good

Comments about Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps:

I was interested in these just because I wanted something new to snack on. I wasn't really worried about the lack of calories. I like the way they were packaged separate because it makes it nice to take on the go. I have tried this kind and several others and they all taste great! I think the chocolate covered pretzels are my favorite and the chips ahoy cookies are my second favorite. The price isn't bad either. However, since they taste so great, there is a reason they are only a hundred calories. The packages are very small. They are the perfect size for my two daughters, but I usually eat more then one package. They are very nice for someone that wants to lose weight though. You still get to satisfy your sweet tooth, but not go way over in calories. They are much better for you then a candy bar as well. I can't complain about the size too much I guess, because if they were any bigger then they wouldn't be hundred calorie packs! I can't wait for them to come out with more kinds!

Sooooo delicious!!! My taste buds were definitely impressed!!!

Comments about Nabisco 100-Calorie Packs Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps:

Okay, I was VERY pleasantly surprised by these little guys. So delicious!! They have a nice little crispy crunch to them, the chocolate just EXPLODES in your mouth, yet, they are light as well! The best part? Each pack only has 100 calories, so if you eat the entire pack within 30 seconds, you will know EXACTLY how many calories you've gobbled up without all of the panic! These little snack packs are great to give to your kids as well, such as with their lunches. I definitely feel better about giving my daughter a 100-calorie chips ahoy cookie snack pack, maybe pair it up with an orange or apple, a cup of yogurt, and a peanut butter and honey sandwich, rather than your typical "throw in a Lunchable, piece of candy, pudding cup, zebra cake, cookies," etc. etc. You catch my drift, right? If you haven't tried these yet, give them a shot! I can PROMISE you that your taste buds will truly be as impressed as mine!!
