I got my NYX Trio Eyeshadow with the shades Aloha/Mink, Brown/Deep Bronze as a gift from a family member. I am not sure of how much it costed or where they purchased it from. Anyways, I like how smooth these eyeshadows are! These are very soft and go onto my eye very easily. These are also quite pigmented, I like how the colors turn out on my eye. They seem to compliment the color of my eyes. Also, I like the colors that come in this trio. They all go together really well. They make a really pretty eye look all together. Also, the packaging of this is really nice. I like how it comes with a mirror, and the packaging is pretty sturdy. I also like how this comes with a sponge tip applicator. Next, one thing I don't like is that this has Parabens in it. I heard that these are unhealthy, and I don't really want to be putting these onto my skin. That's the only bad things about these. All in all, these are good eyeshadows!

First this product his very affordable and that is always a plus. The colors show up quite a bit lighter on your eye then they do in the pallet, but this is ok for everyday use when you want a more natural look. This would also be ideal if you do not like the feeling of heavy make-up. The only down side is the color needs to be touched up about every 4 hours depending on what your are doing.

This review is for the NYX eyeshadow trio TS15. The colors also come in single compacts but I have heard the colors are different in the trios and in the compacts so I cannot comment on how singles will look. I find that these  are versatile neutral shades that work for neutral to cool toned skin. I hit pan (meaning I used up the shadow all the way to the bottom and you could see the metal!) on Aloha and Mink Brown (the light and medium shades) but not the Deep Bronze because I just thought it was a bit too dark for daily use. I liked the soft texture, which made it easy to blend and apply with a fluffy brush. But I think it made me use up more eyeshadow. Given the price, I didn't mind. But if you're looking for one compact that will last for years, this isn't it. The colors are light and have a slight shimmer, but do not have a lot of pigmentation so if you have darker skin or like brighter colors, you will have to apply it with a heavier hand. Again, this means you will use up your compact faster. I got this on cherryculture.com but nyx cosmetics also sells makeup from their website and I have heard they have representatives you can purchase from.

I ordered the NYX Eyeshadow Trio - Aloha/Mink Brown/Deep Bronze because it was on sale at Ulta.com for a good price and because the colors looked beautiful on the computer.  At the time of purchase, the ingredient list wasn't posted on their website, so had I known what I know now, I wouldn't have bought this product. **NYX Eyeshadow Trio - Aloha/Mink Brown/Deep Bronze **looks really pretty when you look at the colors in the compact.  *Aloha* is the color of taupe/sand with a shimmer to it.  *Mink Brown *is not brown at all and appears to be a neutral, cashmere-like color in the compact.  *Deep Bronze *is just that - a dark, shimmery bronze color. How these colors appear in the compact is not what they look like on your skin, so beware and don't be lured in by their beauty.  The only thing I like about these eye shadows is the silky, smooth texture.  They glide right on my eye lid and feel luxurious going on. What I don't like about this eye shadow trio is the way they look on the skin and the ingredients.  They appear shimmery in the compact, but they are actually really frosty.  Like 1984 kind of frosty.  Not exactly my favorite look.  Another disappointment is the fact that the middle color looks identical to the first color when applied.  You can't tell the difference on my pale skin, so you're not going to be able to see a difference on darker skin either.  Lastly, this eye shadow trio contains parabens.  If that information was disclosed on the website at the time of purchase, I would not have bought it, but the ingredient list was blank at the time. I do love the way **NYX Eyeshadow Trio **feels when applying, but everything else about it is not so great.  I wouldn't recommend it to others, and I will not be buying anymore NYX eye shadow.
