NOW de-glycyrrhizinated licorice extract —
NOW brand de-glycyrrhizinated licorice extract is what I have been using for my acid stomach problems. I always thought I had an ulcer, and even used to take prescription ulcer medicine. Now though, I just chew a couple of these when my stomach acts up. They are the size of a quarter, but they are very pleasant tasting and the texture is very nice. In just a few minutes, the acid in my stomach is calming down. I used to think I was hungry all the time, but now I know acid churning can give you a feeling of hunger when you are not hungry. I feel that this will actually help me to lose weight, as well, because it will tame the feelings of false hunger that I often experience. I love this product but it is only available at health food stores. It is safe and very effective.
