I think for the cost, it's a pretty good product. However, I personally found it a little orange and streaky. It does better if you really take your time on applying. I have it at home as a back up when my more expensive ones run out. Effectiveness It gives a nice tan but, on the darker side. This one I think is best when you already have a slight tan going on. When I am more pale during the fall and winter time, I find this too dark and streaky. Ease of Application Again, if it went on more evenly I would rate it higher. However, you really have to take your time to get it nice and even so, I would say it's more difficult then it has to be. Also, removing it from hands and ankles can be a pain. Scent It smells like most self tanners which I am not a big fan of but, you come to expect when using these. Longevity I would say this one last a little longer then average. It does fade a little each day but, I shower daily and shave and it still lasts about 3-4 days for me. I think that's pretty good personally.

Overall I did not really like this product. I have been looking for a good alternative to tanning outside and tanning beds when it comes to have nice glowing skin year round. I did not find it in this product! The first time I used this lotion I made the mistake of not carefully inspecting both my legs entirely after applying the lotion. I thought I had carefully rubbed it all in but then a few hours later (I was wearing shorts) a kid came up to me and told me that I had spaghetti sauce on my leg! I looked down and sure enough there was a small gross dark orange spot on my leg where I had not completely rubbed in the lotion! This took a few days to fade away. I have tried using this over the course of a few days either to even out tan lines or just give my legs the appearance of being tan. Both failures. After a couple uses you don't look like you got some sun...you just look orangish! And then when you stop using the lotion and the "tan" starts to fade it is all streaky! Not cute

Overall it is a pretty good tanning lotion. It doesn't seem like it minimizes hair even though it says it should. It can be used in place as your normal moisturizer. I think it works better if you can sit out in the sun as well. I don't suggest using it on your face. Before applying to a large part of your body you should test it first to make sure you won't have a reaction to it. Effectiveness It definitely gives you a tan. You will see results after one day. After using it for a couple of days you will see your tan progressing. Your skin will be noticeably softer. Ease of Application It is extremely easy to apply. Just put enough into your hands to cover the parts of your skin you want covered. Apply evenly for an even tan. I suggest washing your hands afterwards so that your hands don't get an orange tint. Other parts of your body won't turn orange, but your hands will. Scent It has a pleasing scent that is not overpowering. Longevity I found that you might need to reapply throughout the day.

My friends recommended this tanning lotion back when I was in college. I love the rich texture of the lotion ( it is a little thicker than Dove tanning lotion). Since I only use tanning lotion in spring and summer time, an 8oz tube is a reasonable size. Every year I just buy one ( or two) new tube and use it all for that season. The more frequently the lotion is exposed to air, the faster it will dry up ( not mentioning bacteria development around the opening of the tube). My skin is olive-like and has warm yellow under tone. I am a little pale and has some freckles. This lotion gives me an obvious tanning effect. By saying " obvious', I mean someone knows me definitely tells that my complexion looks different, " positively different", or " glowing". Notice that this lotion is for medium to dark skin, it might not the perfect one for me to use on daily basis, but it does work. Beside that, its moisturizing effect works just well. I really like this product a lot, it does what it says and works very well. I get pretty dark in the summer and I buy the medium to dark version of this after I start tanning to help me achieve that look I want without having to be in the sun a ton. Nivea does a great job at combining a great moisturizer with a gradual tanning effect. You will not be instantly tan after using this one time, it's meant to be a gradual tan so it's great for daily use. It did not turn me orange or give me a fake tan look. Of course it gives you that same great soft silky skin that Nivea lotions are known for. Effectiveness It gives you a nice gradual tan, perfect for every day or every other day use. Great moisturizer as well. Ease of Application Applies just like any other lotion. Dries on my skin very fast and does not transfer to clothes or furniture. Scent Smells like lotion! Sorry but it just smells like lotion to me. Longevity Once I achieve the color I want I use it a few times a week to keep the look. If you just stop using it altogether your tan will probably only last a few days.

Over the years my family has been loyal to the Nivea brand and when I went shopping and saw lots of the Nivea brand on sale, I wanted to try some new products from them. I bought the Nivea sun-kissed beautiful legs for medium to dark skin for half the price and I like that it had different skin color options to choose from. It is always very difficult to find the medium to dark skin tanning lotions but I was glad I finally found it from Nivea and it was everything I wanted. I was really impressed on how fast I started noticing results because when I started using the product, I was very convinced that it will not be effective. The only downside to the product is that it is a little bit thin and watery; I would have wanted it thicker than it is but that does not affect how well and fast it delivers results. I like how good it smells and how smooth it goes on the skin. It is a good product and I totally recommend it if you are in the market for a new tanning lotion.

I have always been a fan of Nivea products and this one is no different. I think it works really well. It is a tanning lotion that gradually darkens my skin without me having to be in the sun, which is great. I love how this lotion does not turn my skin orange, but instead, over time, it turns a nice golden brown that looks totally legit. It looks as though I have been laying in the sun! It is healthier than having to lay in the sun too! I like scent of this lotion too. Sometimes the lotions that are made for this purpose can smell a little weird, but this one does not. It really does moisturize too, which is something I am grateful. My skin can get dry on my legs, so having a lotion that actually moisturizes while tanning is wonderful! This is a product I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a healthy way to tan your skin and do no want to go somewhere for that expensive spray tanning.

I absolutely love Nivea lotions, so it was no surprise that Nivea once again delivered. This Sun-Kissed Beautiful Legs formula gave the perfect amount of tan with just the right amount of lotion. It was easy to apply and absorbed well and it also moisturized well throughout the day, eliminating the need for extra lotions. This is my go-to lotion for when I already have gotten some color at the beginning of the summer and I need a better self tanner to use to get the last bit of color to achieve my ultimate desired look. It really does smell better than most other tanning lotions as well. Since it is actually designed for the legs per say, I have not tried it on other parts of my body such as the face. Usually I get less tan on my legs anyway so I like to give them a little extra boost and this is the lotion that I choose to do that. I recommend this to anyone who has the same problem of their legs being a little lighter than the rest of their body.

I usually start indoor tanning the first month of spring when it starts warming up. When I tan my skin ends up darker on my stomach and chest. I can never evenly match my arms and legs to the rest of my body so this is where Nivea Sun Kissed Beautiful Legs is used. I apply this lotion on my legs and arms and I'm amazed at how beautiful and bronzed my skin looks within a week. It's adds a hint of color gradually and evens out my tan where I feel like I have a very pretty bronzed look. This product has a pleasant scent and does not smell like a fake tanning lotion. The reason I like this product so much is because this lotion doesn't turn orange and it adds just enough color to my skin each time I apply it. This is the only tan less product I have used that didn't peel off over time. This is a big plus for me because I hate having my skin look dingy after weeks of tanning. Now this lotion is supposed to slow down the hair growth so you don't have to shave as often but in all honesty I didn't really notice a change in my hair growth since I never allow hair to grow on my legs especially when I'm indoor tanning. I love the way my skin looks and feels after using this lotion and I will continue to use it when I tan. Effectiveness Builds a beautiful bronze look to the skin over time and moisturizes the skin and reduced hair growth. Ease of Application Very easy to apply, since color builds over time I never worried about streaks on my skin. Scent This has a pleasant fresh scent. I have been trying self tanners for years and this is one of the best ones I have found. I am really conscious of my skin and sun damage. However, I love to have a tan. This lotion allows my legs to have a healthy suntan all year long. It definitely helps my legs maintain a subtle color throughout the year. It also goes on evenly and stays on for an extended time. It is one of the best I have found at not being darker around my ankles and knees. It gives me color but is not too dramatic.
