I bought this merely because it was a great deal at the drugstore. However, now that I have used it, I can't recommend it enough. I live in Texas and between the sun, the wind and the humidty coming and going my lips have needed a lot of help. Before I would rely on something like Chapstick, but this so much better. It gives my lips color and shine while still doing the work of a chapstick that doesn't do those things. I have pretty pale skin, so i need the color, but often a regular lipstick does more to dry out my lips that it does to help them. This softens and protects while adding some color. I also gave some to my 12 year old daughter. It has enough shine and gloss to make her feel pretty while not overwhelming her with too much make up. As she is outside alot, it gives her the protection she needs as well. I bought for the price but will continue to buy for the protection as well as color and shine.

The Nivea touch of shine lip care provides a glossy shine as well as moisturizes. I like the touch of shimmer it gives my lips and the applicator apllies the product evenly with good coverage on the lips. It does not have a taste, which I think is a plus. This product does tend to wear off rather quickly and requires frequent re-application. When it wears off it does leave a bit of residue, so I usually wipe my lips before reapplying this product to avoid clumping(yuck). I got a great deal on this item, so ithas provided me with a good value for the money I spent, but i probably would not want to pay full price for this product. Nivea is a brand I like and trust, and i generally like the touch of shine lip care products. This item makes your lips feel nice, but it is a little bit sticky for how I like lip care items to be. I have several othernivea lip care items and i use them frequently, Overall, it is a good product.

I suffer from seasonal allergies. Along with the sinus headaches and congestion, I frequently get chapped lips as well. They are especially bad first thing in the morning because of breathing through my mouth all night. I try to keep a tube of something next to my bed so that I can hydrate them during the night. While traveling, I had forgotten my lip balms so I picked up a tube of Nivea's **A Kiss of Shine Glossy Lip Gloss. ** I was disappointed with the product from the first time I applied it. I found it to be thick and a bit gloppy. It doesn't glide on easily and has an offensive tutty-fruity fragrance. I'm not sure if the scent caused me to be psychosomatic or if reality is that the gloss has an odd taste as well. Let's just say that I am not a fan! Back to the drawing board, Nivea. **Contains natural Ingredients**: Shea Butter and Vitamin E **Bottom Line:** I like Nivea products but I will have to pass on this one. Sorry.

Nivea A Kiss of Shine Lip Gloss has got to be the absolute worst lip gloss out there.  I don't even know if it holds a shine because I couldn't stand to have it on my lips!  It is absolutely horrible.  It has the strongest perfume smell and taste and it kind of burns.  If you can imagine putting some perfume on your lips and going through your day, then you can imagine the Nivea Kiss of Shine lip gloss line.  I got it on top of a package, since I am a lip gloss addict, and htought it made the cutest accoutrement.  Wrong-O!  I ripped the package open and put it on my lips only to discover my lips burning and I tried to get it off as quickly as possible.  I can't believe how strong the perfume odor and taste is.  I usually like Nivea products and have used their lotions for a long time, but this was something else!  They should really change the name to, "Nivea Kiss of Death."  I don't know anyone that will want to kiss your sweet smelling lips with this on!

I bought the Nivea a kiss of shine  in brillant pink glossy shine because I had a coupon.  I am normally a burts bees fan, but was looking for a little shine and a little color.  I like the product, its not too pink, it is a little sticky on the lips and it does have a smell, but I actuallly like the smell.  It kind of tastes perfumey though.  The downside is you have to reapply it often.  but it does look nice when it is on.

I tried Nivea Kiss of Shine because I am a bit of a lipgloss junkie and it frequently is available to purchase quite inexpensively with coupons and sales. Of all the Nivea lip care products I have tried, this is by far the worst. The texture is fine - not too sticky, the packaging is fine, and the shine is nice. There is nothing really great about it, but nothing really bad...except the fragrance. The first time I uncapped this gloss, I was shocked by how much I could smell it. I thought it was just me, and maybe it is, I suppose, but once I put the gloss on the scent did not lessen. It smells a bit like makeup that has gone bad, despite the fact that it was brand new. In fact, having this gloss right under my nose was intolerable. Within a minute I felt myself getting a headache and had to wipe the gloss off. I have tried it since a couple times, always with the same result. I will admit that after I wipe it off my lips are a bit softer. (I used in for chapped lips in desperation one day and even after a minute it did help a little.) Still, this is a product I have not been able to use.

My husband gave me a little basket with some bath and beauty products inside for Valentines Day. One of the items was the NIVEA A Kiss of Shine Lip Gloss. I have seen the product at the store and have been wanting to try it out, but just never bought it. I normally wear lip stick with color and this is more of a clear gloss. I couldn't wait to try it out! It has a nice consistency, very smooth. It only takes a small amount! One thing I just couldn't get used to is the scent. It reminds me of a perfume scent, not that it is a bad smell, but just not really made for lip products. Each time I have used the gloss, I always feel like I can taste the perfume in my mouth! Kinda gross tasting, like when you spray perfume on yourself and then start talking while it's still lingering in the air and it gets in your mouth...yuck! So needless to say I have only used it a few times. Always after I forget about the taste in my mouth and try the lip gloss again, then it hits me why I haven't used it! Liek I said the consistency is good and not at all sticky or gooey, but just kinda funny smelling - and tasting!
