The mypoints visa card is a credit card that gives you points just for making purchases and buying everyday things. With this card the points really add up very fast! Every month I look at my statement and am just amazed at how many points have added up. Once you get a certaon amount of points you can redeem those points for giftcards. I have already receieved a $100.00 Sears card and a $10.00 Starbucks card. The good things is that you don't have to have a TON of points before you can redeem them like some of those other cards. This Washington Mutual card is great for those who like more bang for the buck. It ties in with the My Points program online. My points offers you points for purchasing through their site, playing games for money, even just reading e-mails. You can also get this credit card through their site. You can double up the points (which by the way are redeemable for gift cards, etc.) by purchasing through their site and using this credit card to purchase. I love the Mypoints Visa. I also have a Macys Rewards Visa, and Citibank Rewards Mastercard. But this one is great because I can use it while shopping online through Mypoints click-thrus and earn extra points, and also use it to purchase things from bonus mails, so I earn even MORE points. — I shop using mypoints a lot anyway, so this is a great way for me to earn extra points. — The only downside is the interest rate is higher than my other credit cards, but I find that's true with most rewards cards. I signed up for this card for the points earning opportunity. I have enjoyed using the card and have not had a problem with it yet. I do wish that payments would post faster though. I have posted a payment online and had to wait 4 days for the payment to post. We have the 0% for the first 6 months which has been nice, but I do wish that the interest rate was lower for after that. I try to not carry a balance, but unforseen events do tend to happen, and the percentage rate is rather high, but not necessarily higher than any of the others. … read full review »

I was weary at first about my points when I learned about them a few yrs back. — — But, after a while, they introduced its credit card, and the offers were just too good to pass up! This is a great card that allows user to earn points outside of mypoints.com for every use. Also, online users are able to see their credit score supplied by TransUnion and updated monthly. The interest rate is decent, especially for those with no so perfect credit ratings. first of all I am the kind of person who pays off the credit card every month. This is so beneficial to me I pay all my bills with my credit card. I am usually able to earn a 20.00 gift certificate each and every month. So many places give more than one point for one dollar. Approved pretty fast, card was in the mail and to me within a week. I had no interest for the first 6 months so was able to earn point with out having to pay interest, Great card with fun rewards. Have payed it every month on time and the website for the card actually has a cool little credit score tracker. So you can see if you have raised lowered or kept your credit the same. If you can pay off your credit card balance each month, then this Visa card is definately one to consider. Yes, the interest rate is high, but that's why I pay it off, too.
