My Points Rewards Visa, distributed by Washington Mutual Bank, is a great way to obtain a lot of points if you are a member of MyPoints.com. Not only will you earn 3000 points when you receive and use this credit card, but you will also have a zero % interest rate for the first six months.

Mypoints Visa card is my favorite one to use, especially around the holiday season when we are all trying to play Santa Claus.
Mypoints.com is a website that sends you emails to read about various products and actually "pays" you to read these emails. I have been a member for at least 2 years. They offer their version of the Visa card called Mypoints Visa. It's wonderful! Washington Mutual (formerly Providian) offered a credit card to its customers via a statement insert. When I went to their web site to apply, they had changed the terms and conditions in a very material way. When I called to ask about the discrepancy, no one could give me a straight answer, the people I spoke to spoke an English almost unintelligible and they were in Texas, and their correspondence department never responded to my inquiry.

I love the Mypoints Visa. I also have a Macys Rewards Visa, and Citibank Rewards Mastercard. But this one is great because I can use it while shopping online through Mypoints click-thrus and earn extra points, and also use it to purchase things from bonus mails, so I earn even MORE points.
I shop using mypoints a lot anyway, so this is a great way for me to earn extra points.
The only downside is the interest rate is higher than my other credit cards, but I find that's true with most rewards cards. I try to pay my balance off each month in order ot avoid interest charges.

This card WAS terrific. It gave you 1 point per dollar you spent, which added up quickly & you could cash in on MYPOINTS. As of 2/14/09 this card no longer gives points as it was bought out by ???. MYPOINTS hasn't found a company to replace this one, but is looking.
It's only been 5 days & I miss using it already!

Mypoints Rewards Visa makes an already great reward program even better. It fulfills multiple needs.
The Mypoints website offers a great many earning opportunities -- then they offer a credit card for further point earnings. Anyone who shops on the internet will be using a credit card to pay for their purchases, this is just another way to earn even if the shopping site is not a Mypoints partner. It also gives you the freedom to shop anywhere and still earn points.
