ive been a member with mypoints for a couple of months. needless to say my points have not accumalated very fast. this site has alot of good websites for shopping but who wants to have to spend money all the time just to earn points to win prizes. i can just take the money that im spending to make the points and buy what i would win by earning the points. thats how i look at it. i enjoy doing shopping but not to just earn points from a website.i look into the prizes they have and the points you need to earn these gift cards ect. are high1 how much shopping do you have to do to get enough points to win anything. lol

I've been a member for years and love MyPoints! No, it is not something that you are going to earn a ton of points on if you don't buy online. I've done a couple years where I've hard bought anything online, but I still earn enough points reading the emails and going to the websites to get a couple gift certificates every year. I think MyPoints is best for those of us who already to a lot of shopping online. I was looking for a cell phone last year and found the MyPoints cell phone area. Got a regular contract with Cingular, a brand new Razr phone for free (with free shipping), and earned 1,000 points. Why not earn points for things I would have bought online anyway? That's how I look at it. And even if I do only get a $25 gift card one year because I didn't shop much, that's still just $25 for doing nothing but looking at email and websites - again, something I do anyway. :)

I just joined a couple of months ago, too. It does seem like ALOT of work, looking up and they just want you to buy something. Or the "free" offer is that you get 2 or 3 free things but they charge you unless you cancel in time. MyPoints in the long-term will probably be better than the survey sites I've seen, though. The survey sites are a huge waste of time. Good luck.

I rarely buy anything from the e-mails they have sent me and I have enough points at the end of every year that I don't have to spend money on Christmas gifts for my family and friends. I think it just takes a bit more time and you'll get used to it and start earning more.

I have been a member for a long time - just do the emails once every couple of weeks and a few offers. Just got a $25 Barnes and Noble GC
