I have been a my points member for almost 5 years now.  When I had my first son, I bought most of his furniture online.  I happened to check and found the place I was ordering from was a my points member.  So I earned points for doing the shopping I was going to do anyway.  I earned enough points with my first purchase to redeem them for gift cards.  Now, I check before I do any online purchases.  I save my points till just before christmas then, redeem them and buy my christmas gifts with them.  Or I will take my family out to dinner.  But basically it's free money.  And I've found some really good deals thru them.  Well worth joining.
