My top 20 movie reviews Part 2 —

These are my top ten favorites!

10) Carlitos Way

Starring Al Pacino, Sean Penn, Penelope Ann Miller.  Directed by Brian De palma.

Some would regard this as a  gangster flick. I call it a wonderful romance, filled with a lot of gangsters in it.Beautiful cinematography, and very well written. A must see!

9) The In-Laws  (1979)

The tag line for this movie when it was released was: "The first certified crazy person's comedy."

Starring Peter Falk, Alan Arkin. Directed by Arthur Hiller

In preparation for his daughter's wedding, dentist Sheldon Kornpett (Alan Arkin) meets Vince Ricardo (Peter Falk), the groom's father. Vince, a manic fellow who claims to be a government agent, then proceeds to drag Sheldon into a series of chases and misadventures from New York to Central America.

8) Running Scared  (1986)

Starring Billy Crystal, Gregory Hines.  Directed by Peter Hyams.

The best buddy- buddy cop movie ever!

7) Spiderman  (2002)

6) Back to the Future (1985)

5) Murder by Death (1976)

4) Down and out in Beverly Hills  (1986)

3) Scent of a Women  (1992)

2) Crossroads  (1986)

Starring Ralph Macchio, Joe Seneca, and Gamie Gertz.  Directed by Walter Hill.

This is a story of a young classical guitar student helping an old man down to the crossroads in Mississippi, in hopes of getting him out of a deal with the devil he made years before. This movie has it all! Great soundtrack (full of great blues music), great acting performances, and a jolting ending!

1) HEAT  (1995)

Thanks for reading my picks!

I like many on your list. The In Laws (original) was really good. But so were some of the others you mentioned. Makes me want to see a good movie now. I haven't watched a movie in ages.
