My top 15 movies is going to be an interesting subject because when i started this I have no ideas as to which ones I am going to pick. Being a movie addict this could be a very difficult selection but here it goes.....( in no specific order)
"Grease" this is one of our family's all time favorites the combination of music and comedy is a delight for all.
"Mama Mia" this was a very funny interesting film that I immediately fell in love and even my husband enjoys it and watches it over and over. Though the daughter did not care for it....probably because she didn't grow up during the Abba generation as we did.
"Major League" the underdog baseball movie where they win just to spite the new own starring Charlie Sheen and Tom Berenger is always a good one.
"Miss Congeniality" The way Sandra Bullock acts as an FBI agent is classic and taking her from "agent" to "beauty queen" is very entertaining every time.
"7 brides for 7 brothers" this is an old classical musical that is very funny and yet touching in its own way, great family entertainment.
"Convoy" This fast moving trucking movie has action, drama and comedy. Kris Kristofferson does a fantastic job as the "rubberduck"
"Smokey and the bandit" this classic starring Burt Reynolds has action, comedy, romance and drama enough for the entire family. But beware of the sequels they are not as good (as usual).
"2 Weeks Notice" This comedy starring Sandra bulllock is about a do-gooder trying to use her new position at an enemy company to give back to the community. this movie contains drama, comedy and even some romance.
"6 Pack" This family movie stars Kenny Roger as a race car driver who's car is stripped by a "6 pack" of orphans. He gives them a ride to the next town to get away from the small town sheriff and what a ride it is. Drama, romance and even a couple laughs along the way.
"Stone Cold" This high packed action movie stars former football player Brian Bosworth. He goes undercover to infiltrate a biker gang and almost loses himself in the process. Very intense and nail biting action.
"6 Days and 7 nights" This comedy stars Harrison Ford and Anne Heche as complete opposites who are stranded on a desert island. What they end finding is way more than what they bargained for. Action, comedy and romance gallore.
"Fifth Element" This futuristic action movie stars Bruce Willis on his mission to save the earth from some sort of alien creatures. The weapon is unexpected and there are more twists and turns than an old country road. Very high packed action with a twist of comedy and even a dash of romance.
"Hudson Hawk" This comedy stars Bruce Willis as a trying to recover convict who they just won't let retire. They kidnap him and force him to steal things to change lead into gold. Very funny and musical as Bruce likes to sing some amusing songs along the way on he mission for the "perfect cappuccino" Very funny with a hint of action and romance.
"Kindergarten cop" this off the wall movie stars Arnold as nothing other than an undercover cop posing as a Kindergarten teacher trying to locating and save a witness and locate the missing money from a drug bust. This action stars does pretty good as a comedian.
"Ella Enchanted" This musical fairy tale combines several different tales all into a new twisted version of Cinderella. Starring Anne Hathaway as Ella who is given the gift of obedience from her fairy godmother and has to try to find her to get the taken back. This movie has a message (but don't tell the kids) along with romance, comedy and even some action.
There you have it our top 15 movies we never miss. Make popcorn, sit back and enjoy.
