My Super Ex-Girlfriend  —

I like Uma Thurman, she was killer in the Kill Bill volumes and absolutely yummy in Dangerous Liaisons so what on earth was she doing in 2006's My Super Ex-Girlfriend?  Must have been something fun for her to do after the blood-letting that was-is-the Kill Bill movies, but My Super Ex-Girlfriend?

Directed by Ivan Reitman, heretofore a producer (and should have stayed one), My Super Ex-Girlfriend is a silly little story about a woman Jenny Johnson/G-Girl portrayed by Uma Thurman (The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Pulp Fiction, Gattaca), who was endowed with superhuman powers by, what else, an asteroid.

She hooks up with Matt Saunders portrayed by Luke Wilson (Charlie's Angels, That 70's Show, Blades of Glory), but he soon finds her clingy and prone to jealously and he breaks up with her, causing her to take revenge.  And besides Matt is secretly in love with his office mate, Hannah portrayed by Anna Faris (Friends, Brokeback Mountain, Scary Movie 4).

After watching My Super Ex-Girlfriend it's not hard to see why the movie bombed at the box office.  The acting was okay, but Luke Wilson is, well boring.  I would skip this one folks.
