My Pyramid is a health Web site designed to help kids and adults figure out what the right amount of food is to eat based on their size and goals.
The site shows the official new food pyramid, but it also allows you to create a customized pyramid based on your personal stats that you can input ont he site. Then you can print the results to have your meal plan on hand.
The recommended meal plans are based on the food pyramid and healthy lifestyle habits. It not only suggests the right amount of servings of fruits, vegetables, grains, protein, dairy and extras, it also suggests an hour of exercise per day.
I found the pyramid for kids especially helpful. I have two boys and knowing how much they are supposed to eat can be a real challenge. Sometimes they want to eat like birds, other times they can't seem to get full. Having this site as a guide helps me keep their diet in balance.
On top of creating a personalized food pyramid, My Pyramid also offers a tip of the week, a tracker tool and meal plans.
