This doll would be nice for any girl that loves to play with dolls. She comes with dresses for to get change and to have fun with. It is reasonable for any child. I would recommend it for any girl.

I purchased this toy as a gift for my daughter getting potty trained. She loves my little pony. The price point I thought was decent. Personally I feel a lot of toys are way over priced but this one was within reason. The build of this character is well done. I feel it will hold up pretty well. My daughter pretty rough in stuff so we will see how long before we break a peice. The outfit is conservative, which I like. Some toys are scantly dressed that I wouldnt purchase them. This one met my standard. The clothes are well made, not tissue thin. The hair is nice also. It's smooth, shiny and doesn't have a nasty smell like some doll do. The packaging design is attractive. It's not too overly done and simple. The colors are nice and the product is well displayed. I will most likely be purchasing another one of these characters for Christmas or birthday if it holds up well to my daughter playing with it. I would recommend this product to friends and family.

My daughter first saw the television show for the Equestria girls on netfix and loved it. After watching it awhile we found the dolls of the characters. I bought as many characters as I could find when our local store did a clearance sale on them. I got five of them for less than forty dollars. The dolls are cute and simple in what they come with. They have individual outfits, a pair of shoes, and a necklace. The necklace is unique and cool because it has a QR code that can be scanned in the app for smartphones and tablets that unlocks the character in the app. My daughter loves Applejack. This particular doll is the country theme southern girl persona. She has three cute little apples on her cheek, which I have found useful in remembering the names of the characters when I play with my daughter. Each has their own unique "tattoo" that represents their name.

My daughter received Applejack Friendship Games Doll as a gift for her birthday and she absolutely loved this gift. The doll looks stylish and the dress worn by it was fashionable and trendy. The doll was dressed in a pretty blue top, short skirt and it had big boots as well. The best thing about this doll from My Little Pony Equestria Girls is that there is a game associated with the necklace of the doll that unlocks the app as well. My daughter plays with the doll as well as the game on her mobile phone and enjoys herself. My daughter owns about 30 dolls and this was an addition to her set. It's fun to see such dolls having their inbuilt games as well which give virtual rewards and make the kids engage in it. I always keep the necklace in another case to keep it safe from dust and I pack the doll back in the case with which it came with as my daughter has a habit of breaking her dolls too soon. I checked up the price of this doll and I wish to buy the same for my niece so that she also can try this new age doll.

I bought my nearly three year old daughter one of this particular applejack doll and one of each of the other friendship is magic dolls for Christmas last year and some this year. The two that I bought her last year were a applejack and twilight sparkle, so I have some previous experience with these dolls. Unlike some other dolls like certain barbies or bratz dolls, if the heads of these dolls come of, they do not snap back on. My daughter was playing with hers when she got the head stuck in her baby gate and it popped the head clean off, so we had to replace that one. That was the only issue that we seemed to come across with these dolls, other than that minuscule problem these are a great doll and a great present for my little pony lovers. I personally recommend this doll for children over three, every child is different though so they could be fine at a younger age. One problem that arose with my daughter is that the hands on the doll are small and a bit pokey, which obviously can be a risk for smaller children who put things in their mouths. I really like these dolls because they are adorable and a nice change from the normal ponies that dont have outfits or accessories or anything to make them more entertaining.

I purchased this for my niece who simply had to have it. I'll admit that I was a bit underwhelmed when it arrived. It was about $15 and it certainly does not look well made enough for that price. The doll itself is cute enough, with apples on the girl's cheek and a nice outfit. The problem arises with the quality. The doll body is well made and durable, but the necklace was broken within minutes of unwrapping and the outfit is just plain cheap. The shirt is very tough and does not stay on well. The skirt is made of a very cheap, shiny material that is just plain ugly. The shoes are the best things of the outfit - well made and sturdy - but even they are easily lost. The hair is also easily tangled and it will never, ever look like it did when it was first removed from the box. I certainly would not put this on par with the quality of a Barbie doll. They are cute, but they are not really for long term play. If they just sit on a shelf looking pretty they're great, but if they are actually used don't expect them to last long.
