Their first 2 albums were great and the Black Parade was even better! The dark undertones mixed great with the pop beats. It's a great listen! lots of fun!

this was such a different sound then the usual mcr albums..
I own all three and I have to say I really like a lot of the songs on this album! Its sooo good. If you fall in love with their album then you should totally see them live!
They really tried to go for a different sound.
Gerard was sober for this album too so I am sure that, that helped out in the making sence to the lyrics.
So go get this album!!

My Chemical Romance does it again with this CD. It is amazing, powerful and translates great into live performance! It is much different from their past two CDs, opting to become more of a rock opera than just a CD. The lyrics are wonderfully written. Though some are morbid, the imagery is amazing and keeps the listener wanting more. The guitar solos are plentiful; Ray Toro is the Slash of My Chemical Romance.
On their album "The Black Parade" My Chemical Romance goes all out. This cd is full of intense lyrics and great fashioned rock and roll. There are a variety of styles in this cd including punk, alternative, hardcore, and emo. The best song of the album by far is "Welcome to the black parade". This song is totally mind blowing. It goes deeper than ever as far as emotions and pushes the limits on what is deemed "acceptable" by society. I love the arrangement of the songs and the sound is indescribable. You have to hear it to understand. I listen to it almost daily and it gets better every-time. If you think you know My Chemical Romance, you need to get this album and I am sure you will change your mind. It is GREAT!!!!
I suggest Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge.
