My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow Review

When I first came home from the hospital after giving birth to my son, I didn't know what to expect from breastfeeding and felt a little unprepared.  Since this was my first baby, I didn't know what I needed to facilitate an easy breastfeeding experience.

Being a new mom is very challenging.  You are sleep deprived, sore from giving birth, overwhelmed and adjusting to your new role in life - a parent!  Anything that could possibly make this transition better is alright with me, but I didn't know what I needed or even where to start.  Luckily, my best friend is 22 years older than me and with her age, came wisdom and experience.  She went out and bought me a My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow.  Wow, what a difference it made! 

Before using the My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow, I would cradle my son in the crook of my arm.  It worked well, but left me exhausted from trying to support my arm the whole time.  Soon, I started placing a pillow from my couch under my arm to help support it, but that didn't remedy the entire problem either. 

The My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow solved the problem!  The pillow goes around your waist and snaps closed.  The front of the pillow has a soft, but firm surface for your baby to rest on that supports him, making mom much more comfortable.  I no longer needed to support him with my arm, the pillow did all the work.
