Whenever I am going through some shit or want to chillout I listen to Godmack.Mama Save Me is on of my favorite songs.I lost my Mom along time ago and especially when I was out there in the world and needed something to just get me through as crazy as it was this song did.So now as an adult I would have to say that I have kept Godmack in my music collection.If I am pissed or just want to sit back and chill God Smack is the one for me.Who do you like to chill too?

I generally chill to classical music, mainly piano. I like listening to songs without words where I don't have to concentrate on the lyrics, I can just sit back and relax.

It depends on what mood I'm in.  Sometimes I listen to soft country music.  Lately I've been listening to a playlist I made just to relax of Indie and easy listening.  Stuff like Songs for a Blue Guitar, Adam Cohen, Peter Gabriel.  Holdin' On by Citizen Cope is the ultimate relax song.  I have a soft playlist I use when I'm taking a shower, reading, or doing yoga.

But . . . mostly I like full tilt.

Heavy Fiona Apple lullabies, Shiela Chandra drones. Anoushka Shankar. For me, there has to be a female voice or feminine touch to the instrument. I do like Moodscapes on Sirius sometimes.

For me, anything John Mayer, just got his new Battle Studies cd and it's really good. I also like Sarah McLachlan, her voice puts me in a mellow mood. Tracy Chapman for her soulfulness, she paints a picture with her music.

I listen to either Korn, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, or Type O Negative to chillout, depends on what kind of mood I am in on which one I actually listen to but most of the time it is Korn.
