I'm a music NUT.  No. Really.  I listen to music all day, every chance I get. I'm listening to music RIGHT NOW.  Being "not right in the head" like I am, I really love off-beat songs with funny titles.  Stuff that so obviously was written just because they wanted to write it and not because they were looking for a hit.  Now, Cletus T. Judd and Weird Al songs are obvious choices, but, everyone knows those. (Although, as high-brow music goes, it's pretty hard to beat "Weasel Stomping Day" and "White and Nerdy").  What are your all-time favorite song titles, ones that make you smile or just laugh outright?  Two of my favorites are:

"Its Hard to Kiss the Lips at Night that Chew Your Ass Out All Day Long", by The Notorious Cherry Bombs.

AND

"Fryin' Bacon Nekkid" by Roger Alan Wade (or as some know it, "Lovin' You is Like Fryin' Bacon Nekkid".

"Till" it is so old now I don't even know who sung it. It was the late "50 or early "60. If anyone remembers this song please let me know the artist.

Tom Jones sang it last in 1971. Here are the lyrics. Is this the song you mean?

Till

You are my reason to live all I own I would give
Just to have you adore me

Till the moon deserts the sky till the all the seas run dry till then I'll worship you
Till the tropic sun turns cold till this young world grows old
My darling, I'll adore you

You are my reason to live all I own I would give
Just to have you adore me

Till the rivers flow upstream till lovers cease to dream .till then I'm yours, be mine

It was recorded by:

* Percy Faith (#63 on the Billboard charts) (1957)
* Roger Williams (#22 on the Billboard charts) (1957)
* Shirley Bassey (1961)
* Tony Bennett (1961)
* Maureen Evans (1961)
* The Angels (#14 on the Billboard charts) (1962)
* The Vogues (#27 on the Billboard charts) (1968)
* Bobby Vinton (1968)
* Earl Grant (1968)
* Dorothy Squires (1970)
* Tom Jones (#41 on the Billboard charts)(#2 on the UK Singles Charts (1971)

Being a ChaCha guide means I MUST research and find answers whenever anyone asks,.  lol.

I just heard another song the title isn't my favorite title, but the lyrics are awesome; it's called, I Love Your Love [the most] by Eric Church!  Great song!

I Love Sleeping In On Saturdays
And I Love College Football Games
I Love Not Acting My Age
And A Good Barbeque

Yeah I'm A Fan Of Faulkner Books
And Anything My Mama Cooks
Small Mouth Bass Have Got Me Hooked
On Sunday Afternoon

Yes I Love Good Cold Beer
And Mustard On My Fries
I Love A Good Loud Honky Tonk
That Rocks On Friday Night
And Hell Yes I Love My Truck
But I Want You To Know
Honey I Love Your Love The Most

Man I Love How Redman Taste
And Damn I Love My Nascar Race
Any Song Sung By George Strait
Is Country At It's Best

Yeah I Love Scuffed Up Cowboy Boots
And Broke In Tore Up Jeans
A Four Wheel Drive Eight Point Bucks
And Rocky Road Ice Cream
And Hell Yes I Love My Dog
And Jack D In My Coke
But Honey I Love Your Love

Yeah I Love Your Love yea
I Love Your Love The Most

I love music. I live for music. My day is not complete unless I get to listen to music. I love all forms of Rock N Roll music from the beginning in the 50's to todays modern rock. I love to listen to the music that influenced the different forms of Rock such as the blues, jazz, gospel, folk and classical. There is so much amazing music out there. How can anyone pick one song or even one album or one group out and say this is their favorite.

This boggels my mind. I love so many groups for so many different reasons that to just try and pick one song would put me into a metal institute because of the mental stress I would experience. I own 100's of albums, 100's of downloaded songs from I-tunes and Amazon. I still have some of my favorite records even though I have bought them on disc too. And of course there are hundreds of cd's I want and I read about new music almost daily.

Did you know they found 250 metal, vinal masters of the music of Woody Guthrie? And they sound great. A true piece of American music history.

Have you listened to the new group . . . ( . . . fill in the blank . . . )

I have difficulty naming my 25 favorite songs because the list is always changing when I remember a song that I haven't thought of for a while and remember the joy I had listening to it years ago but never got a copy.

So what is my favorite song.
Have you got several hours to listen to my favorites?

Ah, the song Lisa Simpson played on her saxaphone in tribute to Bleeding Gums Murphy.  :)
