If you had 15 minutes to meet and chat with your favorite musical performer who would it be and what would be your first question?

I'd love to chat with John Fogerty, who made hits years ago with Creedence Clearwater Revival and continues on as a soloist. I'd first ask him about how/where he learned his distinctive guitar style, which I have always loved.

Fogarty'd be an interesting guy to chat with. Just don't bring up that whole mess with the record company..... d;-)

I'd like to sit down and talk shop with Buddy Guy.

Stevie Wonder

What was the experience like creating the masterpiece Song's In The Key Of Life?

Although I started this thread I had to think long and hard about who I would chat with and what I would ask.  If I had 15 minutes to talk with someone it would be Bob Dylan and what inspired him to write, "Just Like Tom Thumb Blues."

A portion of the lyrics:

Up on Housing Project Hill
It's either fortune or fame
You must pick up one or the other
Though neither of them are to be what they claim
If you're lookin' to get silly
You better go back to from where you came
Because the cops don't need you
And man they expect the same.

I would like to chat with either the guys from arch enemy or sarah brightman. my first question would probably be "what made you decided to be in a band" or something to that effect. the question has been done countless times but I wouldn't mind hearing it.

Easy one for me.  Elton John.  My question?  "What is so tough about the life of a mega-rock star that caused you to squander most of the 1980's coked out and liqueured up?"

I think I'd prefer to spend 15 minutes in an intense piano lesson with Van Cliburn rather than just chatting!

But if it has to be a chat, I might choose Kenny Chesney. His lyrics are so personal and touch so many people's hearts and memories. I'd like to know how he chooses what topics to write about and how he pares down the ideas, plus how much of it is from his own life. And what gives him the confidence to write about "nothing in particular" yet know people want to listen.

Kenny Chesney and I would have to ask him if he runs around bare footed at home like he does on stage or is it just a stage thing. I just love his song down the road.
