I have tickets for at least one Jimmy Buffett show in the area--8/23 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.  I've seen him there before and it is a GREAT venue.  Not a bad seat in the house! The crowd does tend to be rather subdued, though...

Also hoping to get tickets for the 9/24 U2 concert at Giants Stadium.  I love U2 and have seen the last two tours.

We aren't concert people for some reason - I only really like them i I have great comfy seats :)  My sister took me to the Linkin Park concert on one of my bdays when her work or a supplier or something gave her 4 tickets to the suite... that was sweet :)  BUt I think I enjoyed it mostly bc we had our own area and weren't in the crowd of fans.

We saw Pdiddy and some others at a concert in 2002 and I think that's the last I've been too!

I do have some fav bands that I would go see if they came around, but it seems lately most the bands I hear coming around are newer ones.

I don't have any plans right now! I haven't been to a concert since the late 1980's. Tickets are so expensive! I would love to go to a Carrie Underwood concert, but I think she has already been to the Atlanta area. If I had the $$$ and it was someone I wanted see in concert, I would go.

I'm really, really excited about Lollapalooza this year... although they have not released the lineup yet. I'll probably go. Also, I hope to attend the Pitchfork Music Fest in Chicago this year. It's an Indie Rock event for lesser known bands so tix are much cheaper. My all time fave, SPOON, usually comes each year. They're an indie band from Austin, TX. You may have heard their songs but never realized it... "I Turn My Camera On" plays in Audi commercials.

I am not ashamed to admit that I will be seeing New Kids on the Block in a few weeks :) It's all my parents fault, they did not let me see them when I was a child.

:) I have some friends that went to see them when they were in town.  I personally grew up without them so I never was in to them, but don't be ashamed - if you like them it sounds like a fun night out!!

I wound up passing on U2 tickets as they were in a stadium and the nosebleeders started at $98 plus all of the fees.  I'd rather spend the $20 on a Blu-Ray and watch it at home on my big plasma!

I am going to see Crosby, Stills, and Nash at a local venue with my parents and husband.  We went a few years ago when it was CSNY, but we had such a great time that I'm looking forward to just CSN.  I'm giving 2 of the tickets to my father for his birthday... and then we are just going to tag along!

We are going to see Hair on Broadway in August. Can't wait. I never saw it the first time around. We too saw CSNY at their 25th reunion. That was an amazing show.

I took my kids to see NKOTB and could have sold cotton balls to the parents!

We saw Bruce Springsteen awhile back. We have tix in Oct. to U2. Do tix to Dora the Explorer Live count?

We hope to catch some more, but with the costs of a baby sitter and a ticket it can really add up.

I haven't been practicing all that much lately, but I'll probably play at a couple of open mics this year. I haven't done a full concert in a while but would enjoy the opportunity if I get asked.

The last concert I went to was Kenny concert in Columbia, SC which was last April. But the only way I got to go was by being a hostess in one of box office booth. It was an awesome all star concert...and yes I did get to see a lot of it. We took turns going to the window. Of course it could have been better going with friends but that was never going to happen because of the cost.
