Aside from the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Science and Industry is by far my favorite museum in Chicago.

I visited the museum for the first time last Sunday and was hugely disappointed. I have been to many many famous museums in the world, but this is definitely one of the worst museums I've ever been. A Great Educational Place for The Whole Family

Although the Museum of Science and Industry is no longer free, and has seen quite a few changes over the years, it is still a great place to spend time with the family.  The whole family can enjoy viewing all of the exhibits, while being both educated, and entertained at the same time.

    I teach middle school. We annually take our classes to the Science and Industry Museum.. It is an excellent source of interest to middles school students.  They can discover so very many things that are not available to them in books in the classroom.  All the unique exhibits, hands on activities, sights of wonder, and displays that are huge provide them with limitless useful facts and data.  We bring the students early in the morning and spend the entire day with them.. They are not ready to depart when it is time to go home.  There is always one more display they missed or one that...
