Once I reached 40 my vision changed and I began to squint and put stress on my eyes. People would ask me if I was tired or had I been crying. I bought Murine because it said it got rid of the redness. Well, it truly does, but and added bonus is how much like your own tears it feels like. It makes my eyes feel refreshed and takes the redness out as well. Just a couple of drops a couple times a day and no more tired eyes! I asked about it when I went for a check-up and the physician said they were absolutely safe and even recommended it when my eyes felt dry. I can't do anything about having to squint sometimes but I can relieve the redness and itching with Murine. It's a great product.

I have tried several brands of eye drops for my dry eyes and recently I tried Murine Plus for Dry Eyes Redness Relief eye drops. What a mistake ! My eyes were really bothering me so I used the drops and felt like my eyes were on fire. At first I was worried that I had caused damage to my eyes with these drops. I ran to the sink to pour cold water on my face to wash the drops out. I wasn't sure if something was wrong or not and it was frightening. Of course, in my panic,  I thought about tampering among other things, then remembered the seal was intact on the bottle. After awhile the burning eased up and I knew there was nothing seriously wrong, but I also knew I would never use these drops again. I want drops that make my eyes feel better, not worse. The whole point of using the drops is to stop the burning associated with dry eyes. These Murine Plus Redness Relief drops did not relieve burning, they caused it.

Murine products for relief of eye redness have been around for for a long time, they're a classic product.  These are good to have for dry, red, itchy eyes. I keep a bottle in the medicine cabinet. The 1.5 fluid ounce size is small and also doesn't take up a lot of room, making it portable to carry in a pocket or purse when away from home. Application can be tricky. It's difficult for some people to self-apply to their eyes without blinking and having the drops miss the eye completely. If you're having that problem, try having someone help you by applying the drops for you while you concentrate on keeping your eyes open. It will be much easier for them to apply the drops, and easier for you to only have to worry about keeping your eyes open during the application. Not everyone will have this problem so go ahead and try applying it by yourself at first. The Murine Eye Drops work quickly and effectively.
