This product has done wonders for me, especially the oil control mattifier. It is the best moisturizer I have tried for my adult acne-prone skin! It moisturizes while also absorbing excess oil. It has eliminated my need to use a primer with my makeup as well!

I have used almost everything else out there, and nothing else worked. Proactive left my face even worse than it was before and I had absolutely no sucess with supermarket treatments or the prescription treatments I'd been given before. So, I went to Sephora to get a sample of another product and noticed this one. I was later given a sample of the Clarifying mask (which is not part of the kit, but something I definitely recommend investing in) and I purchased the starter/sample kit. The Kit comes with about a month's worth of Clarifying Cleanser, Clarifying Toner, Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel, and Skin Perfecting Lotion, as well as a tube of Acne Spot Treatment After having used the kit for a month, I've noticed a big difference. My face is not perfectly clear, but I have a lot fewer zits than I did before and the ones I do have are smaller and less noticeable. I have noticed that the days I skip even one step are the days I see new pimples, so you definitely need to keep using everything regularly. The Murad Acne complex uses different ingredients than Proactive and others, so might work really well for those who had poor results with them, like me. As a whole, this kit is WAY better than the other products I've used, and I definitely recommend giving it a try. UPDATE: Unfortunately, as it works with most acne products, this stuff worked for a few months, then stopped working. I started breaking out again, and Murad didn't stop or shrink any of my breakouts. I ended up having to go on Accutane to get rid of my acne (and even that hasn't totally worked), so maybe I just have particularly stubborn acne that's immune to everything. However, I stand by my earlier analysis: The Murad Acne Complex worked better than any of the other systems I tried, so if you've got acne and aren't quite ready for something as dramatic as Accutane, I recommend giving it a try. Effectiveness It worked for awhile, then stopped working for me. Ease of Application It's a fairly easy process to follow and the bottles are labeled in order and have clear instructions. Convenience I'm the kind of person who forgets a step every now and then, so having a three/four step process doesn't always work for me. I noticed that days when I skipped a step were days when I started to break out, so you definitely need to stay on top of this. Side Effects I didn't really have any side effects- just the acne going away for a while. Immediacy It started working pretty quickly.

So I bought this at sephora for around 33-39 bucks I think.and it has totally cleared my acne! My favorite thing is the spot treatment.what i do is put it over some of my really hard to get rid of pimples,and then it forms a little shield around the pimple.then in the morning,I wash my face clear of all the little 'shields' of my face and BAM! the have reduced down to size and the redness of them is much lighter! my only complaints are that the the toner does run out very easily and it can really sting sometimes but I have sensitive skin so that may be why.Also,the cleanser is very refreshing,the perfecting lotion smells great and feels fresh,and I find the exfoliating acne gel very pleasant.you feel fresh,ready to go and very clean.It repairs skin at night but using it in the morning is totally fine,also.Overall great product,at a fairly cheap price.In my oppinion,I think it works great on sensitive skin.so BUY IT!
