I have several dark melasmas on my face and all the beauty magazines have advised that Vitamin C is a great way to even skin tone and treat discolored areas. Murad products have always been highly recommended and I found this at an upscale cosmetic store. Yes, I felt that my skin was smoother and more even-toned. However, this was very irritating to the surrounding skin. Flakiness and redness appeared around the areas where I applied the product. This was easily treated with a topical hydrocortisone cream. The packaging does say to discontinue use if irritation occurs, so if you do have sensitive skin you may want to use this Murad product sparingly. Effectiveness As a means to treat my discolored patches on my skin, I found that there was a more evenness to my dark patches. I used the cream for eight weeks, applying daily at first, but switching to every other day when I developed dryness and irritation around the application area. Ease of Application The tube is well made, I had very little overspilling of the product. Scent Highly perfumed. Its a pleasant scent, but if you are sensitive to perfume or prefer a more natural smelling product, I would advise against this one.

This is a terrific product. It has a very high sun protection factor, it moisturizes very well and it helps with age spots. The one drawback is the price. It is very expensive but worth the investment if you have sun damaged skin. There is an entire line of Murad Vitamin C products and I would recommend using the eye cream around my eye area instead of the face product. However, I would recommend using this on the neck and chest in addition to the face. It takes a couple of weeks before you see the fading of the discoloration of the age spots, but with continued use, they will fade dramatically. The best news is that you are preventing future spots by using a product with a sun protection factor. In my opinion, this is too expensive to be used merely as a sunscreen and is more a specialized moisturizing formula. Effectiveness I saw dramatic results in my dark spots from previous sun damage and I noticed that it was an excellent sunscreen as well. This product should be used as a daytime moisturizer, not a nighttime moisturizer. Ease of Application Very easy to apply. You must avoid getting it in your eyes. Scent It has a light citrus scene.

This is a very good product. It works effectively. BUT, it is not worth the cost if you have some time and want to shop around. I used this product for along time (in the past) but eventually found other products that work just as well for about a quarter of the price (or less). I like the vitamins in this product, and they do work well, but I have also found that you can just apply vitamins directly for a lot less cost. I also found that I didn't need such a high SPF, so I eventually switched to a product with a much lower SPF. Effectiveness It was very, very effective at moisturizing and giving me safe sun protection. I found that within a few weeks of using this product, my skin felt firmer and younger. Little lines were plumped out. My facial skin felt moisturized but not greasy or oily. I felt like I had young skin again. I was impressed. Ease of Application Just apply where and when you want it with your finger tips. Easy to use. A little goes a long way, so it helps since it's quite expensive. Scent Wish it were non-scented, but it was tolerable and not too over-powering.

I never bought Mruad products before. A friend of mine gave me a little basket of Murad products as a gift. I liked the Murad Essential-C Day Moisture with SPF 30. First off, you usually don't get that high of an SPF in facial moisturizer. I thought this did an excellent job of moisturizing, making my skin look great, and protecting my skin from the sun. However, I will not buy it. It is out of my budget range. I have come across less expensive products that worked just as well. I might not get that high of an SPF as I do with this Murad product. However, I can't justify spending that much money for the SPF factor. Effectiveness This moisturizer did a great job of hydrating my skin just right. It absorbs completely and evenly. It does not leave my skin feeling greasy or oily. It did give my skin a healthy glow. It made my skin feel good all day. It did not feel thick like some creams with SPF in them do. Scent This has a light and fresh scent. It doesn't smell really heavy of sunscreen which is a good thing. The scent isn't overwhelming and doesn't linger long.

I really liked this product in particular; however it is very pricy for such a small bottle. I suppose one can say quality over quantity in this case. It is kind of a splurge. If you need extreme help with moisture I would say get this because it works extremely effectively. If you are just looking for some simple hydration, another product might be worth looking into for a cheaper price. Effectiveness I would definitely say this product is effective. I would say get it if you are in need of immediate attention for moisturizing and if nothing else has worked for you. It is a great product but for someone on a budget, it is way too expensive to keep buying for daily use. Ease of Application It is just as easy to apply as any other product you would get. It is simple and quick to apply. Scent This product does not have too much of a scent, which I really enjoyed because I find some scented lotions to irritate my skin. Skin on the face is extremely sensitive and this product is gentle enough for my skin.

I was suffering with my acne, my face looking dull and oily, and large pores. I was told by a friend about Murad products, and gave this cleanser a try. I saw results immediately after cleaning my face with this. I used it along with my Clarisonic and it made my face feel so smooth and vibrant. This cleanser is very creamy and lathers very well. I used it in the morning and evening. I loved this product, but my face was starting to break out with acne so I started using the acne line from Murad. I have had positive results with all of Murad products and would recommend them. They have products for all types of skin and face issues. Effectiveness It works really well to cleanse skin and give the skin a glowing look. I used it in the morning and evening. Ease of Application Very easy to use. I used it with my Clarisonic face cleansing machine and it lathered very well on my face. The bottle lasts a long time, a little does go a long way. Scent I love the scent, it is very refreshing and does not irritate my skin.

Living in a climate where it is always hot, the Murad Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 30 has been a big part of my skincare. The product comes in a squeeze tube which I personally like, because I am able to get all the product out without wasting any. I like to squeeze out a pea size amount it is perfect for covering my face, and neck area. When I first applied it, it looked really white like sunscreen, but I take a minute to really rub it into my skin. By then it is well moisturized, and I do not notice a white cast especially on my tan skin tone. The scent is the best part it smells amazing like fresh oranges. I would say it is effective this gave me a fresh glowing look to my skin, and I got complements all the time when this is the only product I had on my face. I have dry skin this moisturizer did provide good hydration without reapplying throughout the day. It is relatively pricey, but I found it a lot cheaper to purchase it on amazon. I highly recommend this to everyone.

I have very dry and sensitive skin so I always look for a lotion that will hydrate but that will also not cause me to breakout. Murads products are great for preventing and clearing up my breakouts so I decided to try the Murad Essential C-Day Moisture lotion to combat my dry skin. The lotion has Vitamin C in it which helps to gently exfoliate your face and leaves your skin glowing. The lotion has a soft and smooth consistency and absorbs nicely into the skin, without making your skin feel tight or greasy. My skin felt and looked smoother and had a nice dewiness to it. The lotion also has a nice clean citrus smell to it that reminds me of summer. Another positive is that the lotion contains an SPF in it so it saves you from another step of having to apply sunscreen. The only negative that i found about this lotion was the cost. You can find face lotions that give you the same results for less money.
