Most HelpfulAfter years of struggling trying to keep my face looking clear, my husband saw an informercial on the Murad product line and ordered me some. I instantly fell in love with the Murad Acne Spot Treatment. I use it every night after washing my face and before I go to sleep. My face has cleared up considerably....

Most HelpfulLike a lot of women, I tend to get breakouts at a certain time of the month. They are always on my chin for some reason, so I was looking forward to testing out a new sample I received: Murad Acne Spot Treatment. It is different from other acne spot treatments that I've seen because it uses salicylic...
read full review »If The Murad Acne Spot Treatment comes with your starter set give it a whirl, otherwise, skip it. I didn't find that it did a thing for my pimples as a spot treatment, in fact, I think my zits were bigger in the morning! The product is wasteful becuase a lot comes out at one time with offers very little control. The tube is small and sells for $18!
Go with Burt's Bee's Tea Tree Treatment, much better and much cheaper!
I expected this to work much faster than it does. I find it reduces the redness and inflamation if I remember to use it several times throughout the day but does little if I forget. The Acne Spot Treatment doesn't sink into the skin but leaves a film on top and is noticeable after applying makeup which I find to be an annoyance. It would be a great product if it disappeared into the skin and worked a little faster.
I am an older woman who still suffers from oily skin and breakouts. I have been using Murad acne spot treatment for a few weeks with good results. I put it on the spot or spots before I go to bed and it helps prevent them from getting worse and starts healing. The sulphur ingredient is probably the reason. I would recommend trying this product.
After several weeks of using this, I'd like to say that my skin has cleared up a little. All in all, it is hard to tell. I still get much acne, and this has done absolutely nothing for my acne scars. It also contains sulfur, so it kind of smells funny and peels off. I am a bit disappointed, and I won't be purchasing it again.
I have used a majority of spot treatments out there, and most do a terrible job. This product is no exception. For a spot treatment that works, try Ole Henriksen - my friends and I swear by it!
This product by Murad was supposed to be the best.. I absolutly HATE it. I used it for 8 weeks and all it did was make my skin dry, flaky, and alot worse from when i started it. the price range was good considering how well it was supposed to work, but after week two there was no difference in my face at all. when i asked the sales lady at ulta ( shes who sold it to me) why it hasnt taken effect she said she was not sure why it hasnt. and to give it a few more weeks. so i bought another bottle of it and kept on using it. in 8 weeks i went through 2 1/2 bottles and i finally quit using it because...
