My husband and I had our first child and we did not know the first thing about buying a crib. I wanted safe and stylish and he wanted what ever got me out of the store the quickest and this crib gave us both what we wanted. It looks beautiful and very elegant and I had to have it. It looks great in a little boy or girls' room. The crib is very sturdy and it adjust to different height levels to make it safe for your child. So when your baby is a crawler and starts pulling up you can ensure he/she will not fall out. The thing I love the most about this bed is you can turn it into a toddler bed very easy. I don't believe we could of picked a better bed. It has quality, safety, durability, and beauty all in one. I will say my only problem with this bad is my son has the worst habit of kicking his legs out of the crib and sometimes they get caught in between the rails but unfortunately I did not think about that when I bought the bed and even if I had I have not found any other bed without rails. It also had a recall on it and we had to order a few parts but the customer service was so nice and they got the parts to us very quick. I would recommend this crib to everyone!

I dont have this exact crib but I do have this brand. I ordered it for my son and it was so beautiful as soon as we found out we were having another boy I ordered the exact same one. The quility is so nice, its like real furniture not junky baby stuff. Everyone that sees their room goes wild for their bedroom outfit. Our next baby will have something from munire!!

The Munire Essex crib is a very high quality crib. The construction is very sturdy and did not seem very difficult to put together (though we had people from the store that we bought it at put it together as it was paid for with delivery). The crib is fairly easy to reach down into to pick the baby up. Also, it has multiple levels for added safety and ease of use, though we found that once she was old enough to move it down, it needed to go all the way down. It is VERY difficult to move the crib from one level to the other because the screws are behind the slats. One other thing that we do not like about this crib is that once it is converted to the toddler bed or full size headboard, it cannot be converted back to a crib. Something about the way you connect it together makes it impossible to convert it back again. Overall, this is a very sturdy, well made piece of furniture, but it is difficult to change levels and cannot be converted back to a crib once converted.

I had the hardest time trying to pick a crib for our nursery but ultimately decided on the Munire Essex in Classic Chestnut. I read Baby Bargains and quizzed other moms, went to numerous baby stores and the Munire was a top notch choice. We also wanted to match the crib with our existing furniture and the chestnut was a great choice. My husband was able to put it together in relatively short order. We had to get some replacement springs due to a voluntary recall but it was a very easy process and their customer service was fantastic. My son has reflux and we ended up having to tilt the mattress in the crib but it was easy to do. The one point I would note is to make sure you have some touch-up wood markers on hand. When baby starts to teeth or when using a mobile attached to the crib, the finish seemed to scratch easily. I was a little surprised given Munire's reputation that it wasn't a tougher finish, but it wasn't bad. Bite guards can be bought and put on the crib to prevent future dings. The best feature of the crib is that it's convertible to a toddler bed, and ultimately a full size bed with a headboard and a footboard (many other convertibles don't have the footboard, so this is a nice bonus).

We have the Munire Essex Crib in Rubbed Black.  It is gorgeous. It is also well-made and appears to be very durable. Currently, it is a crib but converts to a toddler bed and then full size bed.  We were looking for a crib that would be comfortable for both a tall daddy and shorter mommy.  This was it. It's perfect in our little ladybug's room.
