I bought my son his first sippy cup a couple months ago and it was the Munchkin 8 oz Mighty Grip Trainer Cup.  Since then, he has been drinking more formula, so I bought him the bigger version - Munchkin Mighty Grip 10 oz. Spill-Proof Cup.

There are a couple differences between the Trainer Cup and this 10 oz. cup.  1) This cup holds two more ounces and 2) this cup is taller and does not have handles.

The Munchkin Mighty Grip 10 oz. Spill-Proof Cup is made from BPA-free plastic, so you don't have to worry about dangerous chemicals leaching into the liquid.  The nipple is made out of a soft, bendable silicone spout.  For some reason my son likes to chew on it and I'm sure it will not last as long as it could, but that's not Muchkin's fault.

This cup really is spill-proof!  When I bought the smaller 8 oz cup, I didn't think a cup could be spill-proof.  I did some experimenting and learned that it really was spill-proof.  Since your baby has to suck on this spout, there is a valve that will not release liquid unless sucked on.

The Scoop!

I love this sippy cup and haven't experienced any problems with it.  It really is spill-proof and it is BPA-free.  It is a great sippy cup!

I looked online and couldn't find a replacement nipple for the sippy cups, only for the bottles. I guess we're out of luck ;)

I didn't even know they made replacement nipples. I wish I knew because my son bit holes into all of them :)

I think if Munchkin made the plastic nipple out of a more durable material, they might not break so easily. Good for you for contacting the company. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a message!

You're right that it's not Munckin's fault your son chews on his nipples but if Munchkin are going to make products for children, they shoud take that fact into consideration. Who has money to keep buying new nipples all the time? I contacted the company because my son's nipples tore after just a few days... after a few back and forth emails... I'm getting reimbursed ++. :)

I know I couldn't believe it. We were getting some food at McDonald's and I didn't have one of his sippy cups with me. I was showing him how to use the straw and behold he did it. Ever since then he has been using a straw. However, today he wanted his sippy cup. ;-)

Wow a straw! We are nowhere near the straw stage :)

I just bought some Munchkin cups that have straws in them. My baby is drinking from a straw now. It is suppose to be spill proof too! He has not drank from it yet. I need to wash them first. Great review! ;-) ~Krista Lynn

Yeah, I sort of thought Munchkin was one of Target's trademarks or a brand that they carry a lot of. I don't go to Target often but once I realized the Alba and Avalon Organics were there and side by side well that changed my perspective on things ;+) I'm just a tried and true Wal-Mart shopper. I have access to 3 of them within about 5 or 6 miles of my house and I have to go about 7 or 8 to get to the nearest Target.

Good night!

It was only $2.50 at Target. Got to love Target!

They look like they would be easy for a little one to grip. I haven't seen any of these in Debbie's grandkid's collection. It's neat seeing your baby "grow" as you review the latest products. I might get Caleb one of these once he gets a little older. ~Gigi

I couldn't believe they were actually spill-proof! I was actually trying to get it to spill and it didn't :)

I bought some of these for my nephew and they worked out great!
