Most HelpfulRubber Duckie, You're So Fun!
The Munchkin Safety Duck is a bath time friend for any baby! The Munchkin duck is safe, sturdy, and an excellent alternative to tub baths. I'm a bath "safety geek" and the thought of my daughter falling in our tub concerned me! I disliked "other" children's tubs on the...

Most HelpfulOriginally,I purchased the Munchkin Hot Safety Tub especially for on the go. It would be too much of a hassle to have a baby bath tub everywhere he went. But once my son used it once, he wanted his duck tub all the time!
For around $10 you get a giant yellow, inflatable duck tub. The recommended age is 6 -24 months and babies must be able to sit unassisted. My son has already outgrown this and he's 17 months.
The Munchkin Hot Safety Bath Tub comes equipped with a hot sensor on the bottom to let you know when the water is too hot. And when you press his beak, he gives out a loud "quack, quack!". On...

I am so glad that we bought this tub. The ducky's bill makes a cute quacking noise when squeezed which helped my son get over the fact that it was not his normal tub. The tub is safe, easy to clean and easily fits in a hotel bath tub.
I would warn that the tub does not deflate quickly when trying to pack it up again. However, it's not a problem for road travel.
This tub has been great. My bathroom is very small. While for the most part I keep it intact and just store it in the bathtub, if I need extra space in the bathroom, I can deflate it and store it flat out of the way. It also makes it convenient for overnights at the grandparents or traveling. It is so easy to pack. Since it is full of air, it is soft, squishy and comfy,
You can squeeze the beak and it makes a quacking sound which my son smile likes. The tail comes up a bit at the back and I can recline my son back against it to rinse his hair and not pour soap in his eyes. Wehn he...
read full review »The infant tub I used for the first few months of my son's life was uncomfortable and slippery, hard plastic! Then, my sister purchased the Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub for us and we used it until my son was nearly 3 years old. We are now using it for our second son who just turned 1 year old. The Munchkin ducky actually quacks when you squeeze his beak! The tub itself is comfortable, a good size and height to keep baby from falling over or feeling too out-in-the-open or insecure. It does have a heat sensor window that changes color if the water is too hot, but I don't think we've ever seen...
read full review »I thought for sure that my daughter (10 months old at the time) would love the Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub. She was still taking baths in the sink and I felt it was time to transition her to the bath tub (notice how I said it was ME that thought it was time...). I blew the little tub up (took me a long time, and left my lungs hurting), and I filled it with warm water, baby wash and a few of her familiar bath toys. As soon as I lowered my daughter into it, she screamed like a banshee!! She grabbed onto me and wouldn't let go until I lifted her out of the tub. I tried a couple more times,...

It's nice because you don't have to worry about the baby bumping into the side of the bathtub and gives baby enough room to splash and play. Also, you don't have to waste a lot of water like you would if you had to fill the bath tub up a quarter of the way. The squeaker on the beak is cute, but not very convienent for the baby to play with. There is also a "hot/cold" sensor on the bottom of the duck tub that senses when the water is too hot by turning blue. We used this tub for our first...
