what a good idea

I didn't have a bottle rack dryer with my first daughter and it took forever for bottles to dry. My sister gave me this Munchkin Deluxe Drying Rack and it has been a lifesaver for me! Such a simple concept but it really works. Bottles, nipples, caps and bottle brushes all fit in this deluxe drying rack. It takes about 1 hour for them to dry in my house - keep in mind it's winter and we keep it fairly cool. The Munckin Deluxe Drying Rack is tilted so all the water goes to the bottom of the rack. You can then just use a towel and soak it up. I do this about once a day. I like that the stand up things in the rack can all go down to make this more compact and easier to store. I just keep mine on the counter though as we use it non-stop. It's been through two kids now (my sister's and mine) and still looks brand new. This thing really holds up to a lot of use and for the price is well worth the investment.

Excellent Drying Rack for Price

I'm a big fan of the Munchkin products. The Munchkin Deluxe Drying Rack was the cheapest drying rack I could find and I thought it would be very cheap, but for me it isn't. I have one in the kitchen for my son's bottles, baby food containers and bowls, and I keep one at work for my breastbump bottles. It is very sturdy and my dishes get dried fast.  I love how you can fold it down and makes it really easy to travel with. It doesn't drain any of the excess water, but it will dry up, but I make sure I clean it every other day too keep it clean. I wish it was bigger but it does get the job done and its very useful when you don't want to spend a lot of money. Another good thing about the deluxe drying rack is that it has clips to were you can actually clip the toddler straws to and let them dry, that is extemely useful. They have a place where you can put your munchkin bottle cleaner too which is very handy.

Great for drying

As a busy Mom and a daycare provider of infants. I needed a quick way to store my bottles as they were drying after hand washing them. I tried placing them on paper towles, but the water would make a mess and they would fall over all the time. I found the Munchkin bottle dryign rack and was thrilled. It is a rack that holds all your bottles, bottle rings and nipples while air drying. It is large enough to accomadate 8 bottles at one time. I also used it to dry pacifiers, sippy cups and to store the bottle brush. The dryer has "arms" that extend from the base to hold the bottles. This is great because the amrs fold down when not in use to make storage a breeze. It is made of hard platcic, so it can be cleaned easily as well. You can purchase it at mass retailers and baby stores and it is priced very reasonably. This saves a lot of time hand drying bottles and gives you a great place to keep the bottles until you need to use them!

No good for glass

This folds for storage, had multiple peg heights, and is meant to channel drained water, so my hopes were high when I bought it.  However, the folding pegs collapsed under the weight of even one glass bottle, no matter how gently I placed it, even if the back row was placed against a wall for support, so I was never able to properly use this.  Plastic bottles work fine, and the row of slots for bottle caps is nice, but having a spot for breastpump parts would be great, too.  I ended up giving this to a friend, who thought it was fine with her plastic bottles.  Having the option to reinfirce the rows of pegs, or lock the, in place, would make this much more functional.  So would having a channel to drain water into the sink.  I'd also like a raised platform for pump parts.  I really liked the idea of different height pegs, for different items, but this just didn't work as well as it looked like it would.

More helpful than I expected

My mother bought this for me for my baby shower, and I was less than excited.  I couldn't imagine why I would possibly need a drying rack cluttering up my kitchen counter.  Well, I still wouldn't list this as one of the baby products that I cannot live without.  However, it has exceeded my inital expectations.  Babies use a lot of bottles every day.  A lot.  And those bottles, especially if you use Dr. Brown's like we do, have a lot of pieces.  We just get one load of dishes done, and it is time to put in another load- and this is when the Munchkin Deluxe Drying Rack comes in very handy.  It is an easy place to put those bottles that come straight out of the dishwasher but that aren't yet dry.  I like that it folds up for easy storage, although even folded up it still takes up quite a bit of room.  It isn't quite as sturdy as I would prefer.  It is fine for our plastic bottles but folds under the weight of the glass ones.  It certainly won't hold all the bottles we wash in one go, but at least it is a place to put some of them and let them dry.  If you use formula like we do, you don't want wet bottles or the formula will stick and clump to the side and bottom of the bottles. Certainly not a must-have for a new mom, but a nice addition if you have the counter space.

Munchkin Deluxe Drying Rack is useful

We used to dry our bottles by standing them upright on a towel on the kitchen countertop.  It was taking up a lot of space and they were constantly getting knocked over.  We just happened to see this Munchkin Deluxe Drying Rack in the store one day and thought we've give it a try.  It has been useful and does help us dry the bottles and all the accessories and takes up much less counterspace than the old fashioned way.  But because the rack is small, it doesn't hold a lot of things and I wished that some of the spokes that hold the bottles are spaced a little further apart so that the wet bottles don't have to touch each other when they are on the drying rack.  I try to dry the bottles on every other spoke, but I have too many bottles to do this so some of them have to dry next to each other.  The water also collects on the tray on the bottom of the rack because there are no holes for it to drain from.  The rack is easy enough to clean - we just throw it in the dishwasher and wash it with the bottles.  Overall a nice rack, not great but serves its purpose.

The Munchkin drying rack is a great, compact rack!

I registered for the Munchkin Deluxe Drying Rack when I was pregnant with my first child. I liked the fact that it was collapsible and had varying levels of pegs for drying items. I thought I would be both breastfeeding and bottle feeding, so it was a must-have. As it turned out, my daughter never took to a bottle. So the drying rack got less use that I intended. I did use it for sippy cups and breast pump parts, and it worked well. I will say that I never used the collapsible feature, if you need to dry things, chances are you do it daily! I did re-use it with my second child and then sent it on to my sister to use with her first child.  She used it a bit and then switched to a newer, more stylish bottle dryer. Overall, I thought this was a fine item. I didn't use it as often as I could have, but it did the job well and held up nicely for 5 years! A good basic drying rack, unobtrusive on the countertop and easy to clean!

nice to keep all the bottles, but could be better

I first had this to use to put all my breast pumping supplies somewhere while my daughter was in the NICU. The rack does not hold a lot of stuff and after I took apart all the different pieces it was completely full! One of the major drawbacks is that when the items are drying all the water that drips off of them collects in the bottom of the tray. and it was annoying if something fell off the rack and landed in it. after every drying I was taking a paper towel and wiping the excess water off. I was seriously considering drilling holes in the bottom of it but I was not sure if the plastic would hold up and didn't want to break it. Another thing that I didnt like as since it is colapsable you have to be real careful putting the bottles on to it otherwise the whole roll will collapse forward and knock over. There is times where I feel like I am playing Jenga trying to arrange the bottles without them falling!

I was browsing through the store one day looking at baby products when I came across this item by Munchkin.  I thought to myself:  with all the bottles I'll have to wash in a day once I have my baby, this would serve as an excellent place to dry all the bottle parts without taking up space in my own dish rack (which is already at a premium). I purchased it (don't remember exactly how much I paid, but it was relatively inexpensive) and at first was a little worried, because it seems flimsy, like it would break if you accidentally opened it the wrong way.  Once I washed it and set it up though, it has worked like a charm ever since!  It really doesn't take up a lot of counter space, yet it has ample space for 8 big bottles, 8 nipples and 8 rims.  The caps I've had to place on a towel next to the rack because they are bigger and bulkier, but it's really no big deal. This works well to dry the bottles (especially if you place it near a window so it gets some sunlight).  I also think it blends in well with the other dish rack so it doesn't look too out of place in your kitchen.  It also is a breeze to clean.  The excess soapy water just runs down to the bottom of the rack and you can drain it and wipe it clean with a soapy paper towel or cloth. GREAT product, would highly recommend if you are expecting a little one!

The Munchkin Deluxe Drying Rack Is a Great Time Saver!

When I first started bottle feeding again ( I breast fed for about 3 months), I had forgotten how much work it was to sterilize and dry bottles. I saw this Munchkin drying rack and decided to give it a shot. It has eight long rods on it, eight short rods, and soe other nooks and things to dry all your baby needs. (Bottles, nipples, pacifiers, bottle brush, etc.) It is very affordable and can be found at major department stores easily. We find it so helpful. You can turn the bottles upside down on the rods and just let them air dry. We set the nipples up right on the rods too. There is enough room for pacifiers, cap rings, everything. The base slants downward so that any water that drips will not pool underneath the items drying on it. The only gripe that I have is that I wish it were bigger. I would have liked to have gotten one with at least 10 of each prong/rod. I also would like more space inbetween the rods. Other than that, this thing rocks! I'm glad to have it.
