Munchkin Deluxe Dishwasher Basket —

I used to boil all of my son's bottles and nipples after each use.  That got old and very time consuming.  At Target I found the Munchkin Deluxe Dishwasher Basket and my prayers had been answered!

The basket has two different sections.  An upper section that holds up to 14 nipples and a bottom section that is an empty space for bottle parts and accessories.  There is even room for 8 straws, but I don't use that feature.  Even though Munchkin says it holds 14 nipples, I can really only fit 8 in there.  If I were to put any more, they would overlap and not get clean.  Each section snaps closed and then the basket can fit anywhere on my upper rack in the dishwasher.  Since there are holes everywhere, the dishwasher can't miss a spot.

The Munchkin Deluxe Dishwasher Basket is very inexpensive.  I think I paid about $3.50 for it at Target.  I have been using it for about 9 months now and it is still sturdy and shows no signs of wear.

The Scoop!

If you wash your bottles by hand or boil them on the stove, I highly recommend you try this basket!  It has saved me so much time!

If/when you do have children, this is handy. My son is now 18 months old and I use it to wash the lids to his sippy cups! Thanks for reading and commenting!

I can't believe you didn't get something like this as a shower gift. I usually buy several smaller inexpensive items and make a gift package for the expectant mother versus getting her one larger gift. I leave that to the people with more money ;+)

This really saves me time. Looking back, I can't believe I would boil all those bottles!

Looks like we have a lot of the same stuff :) I love this one. Even though I don't have a dishwasher any more I still use this to keep track of the small pieces while hand washing.
