These are really cute love the picture of spongebob but just took a few weeks and they started leaking.

I love SpongeBob myself so when my son started throwing a fit in the middle of the store for this cup I gave in fast. The cup works wonderful. The only time it ever leaks is if I put sprite or another carbonated drink in it. It is also very durable and can handle lots of biting without messing up. It is very easy to clean and dishwasher safe. overall its a great cup for kids.

I have some of the spongebob munchkin spill proof cups and have found like many other sippy cups that claim to be spill proof the Munchkin brand is not spill proof! I bought the munchkin brand sippy cups for a few reasons, number one was because they claimed to be spill proof, number two was because the kids love spongebob so I figured I could get what I NEED from a sippy cup while the kids get what they want at the same time. I will say that the first two to three uses the cups did not leak at all, but after that the cups seem to leak all the time! Sometimes it is only a little other times it leaks enough to soak their clothes. This most certainly is NOT what I want from a sippy cup and I am quiet upset that yet another set of spill proof sippy cups fail me again! I'm sure your thinking was the valve not in? was the cover loose? Yes the valve was in correctly and always is as that is the one thing I check first since that valve is key to how these cups work. No the cover wasn't loose as I make sure to put them on tight so that the kids can not open them.

Spongebob was one of the first characters my son recognized and loved, so I was thrilled to find these cute and durable cups. I like that they are easy to wash and put together, my son loves the bright eyecatching pictures of spongebob. I also love that they are actually spillproof. Most cups claim to be spillproof, these ones actually live up to that claim. The munchkin nine ounce sippy cup is the perfect size for your little one to grasp and carry. They are convient to use, I usually fill two of them at  night, one of water and one of silk, stick them in the refrigerator and they are ready to go for the next day. The only problem I have had with the Munchkin brand cups is losing the insert that makes it spillproof, but that is with most sippy cups. We currently own four matching spongebob sippy cups and are very happy with them, our oldest ones have been around at least six months and they are still in great shape. A very good value!

I've had some bad luck actually finding leak proof "leak proof" cups. I wasn't going to buy these just because the spout looked a little big, but I decided to give them a try. They're not perfect, but I haven't found a cup that's any better. I'd have to say the only thing I don't like about the cup is there's an extra little piece to lose when washing. Most cups I have experienced have an extra little piece or two so It's not even a real complaint. This cup is definatly worth the money.

*I thought that buying the **Munchkin 9oz Spongebob Spill-proof Sippy Cup **would be something fun for my daughter but let me tell you...I would not recommended paying the extra just for a cartoon character. These cups were the worst sippy cup purchase I have a ever made. The first day that we had the cups they started leaking all over. The cap did not screw on tight enough to keep a seal and the plug inside its self was not a perfect fit in the cup. Also when I took the cup apart to wash it the plug inside was impossible to clean, its like two circle disks hooked together and the rubber spill proofer is actually inside. I ended up throwing these cups right in the trash as I could not clean them all the way and I did not want them to be a health risk to my child. I know that there is replacement spill proofers but at the cost you might as well just buy your child a new cup all together. I was very disappointed in this product!*

I have gone through every single type of sippy cup out there. My first warning is to stay away from those stupid cups that let the baby control the flow: this is the reason we are parents we control the flow because babies don't know how to! Anywho, the spongebob sippy cups by munchkin came in a 2 pack and hold 9 oz of liquid. They are so easy to clean and never stain! They also have an awesome one peice valve so its easy to have all the peices available and rarely lost! They were priced fair as well, I paid eight bucks for the set I bought at Krogers and I loved them so much I threw out or gave away any other sippy cups I had in my kitchen! My absolute favorite feature about this cup is that it was the only sippy cups that actually came through on their promise of spill proof and leak proof. My daughter always throws her sippy cups to the ground when she doesn't want it or because it is empty. The major issue I have is that on any sippy cups besides these spongebob ones the leak valve would fall down into the cup but I have yet to have any problems with these! Trust me people, spongebob rocks!
