A friend bought me a Mullins Square Hooded Towel when my son was born and I just love it! It is now in my standard line-up for baby gifts! It is both practical and cute.
What I like about the Mullins Square Hooded Towel
As a baby it was large, warm and soft so it was perfect for bath time. Many of the baby towels (like pottery barn and others) are so small, and intended for just babies, that they quickly grow out of them.
The Mullins Square Hooded Towel, on the other hand, is large and perfect for both babies and toddlers. So, it has staying power. (that is the practical side of me!)
It also comes in absolutely adorable designs. You can get everything from a poodle to lion to an elephant!
The towel is also extremely durable! My son is on his 3rd year of use and it is just as nice now as it was when we first got it. I am surprised how well it has done over time.
One tip is that you consider buying this as a beach towel too. I have brought one to the pool with us and my son thinks he is super cool walking around the pool with an elephant on his head!!
The only downside is that it is not cheap ($30 on sale) and not available everywhere. I found mine at a local baby boutique but it is generally a lot more expensive there-- $45-$50. I would suggest that you search for it online and buy it on sale. There is always one!
