Mucinex DM Review

Tried this product after the recommendation from my family doctor.  I usually have a lot of problems once I get a cold and most often will develope bronchitis or pneumonia by the time everything is said and done.  Due to having high blood pressure and diabetes, there are a lot of OTC medications that I cannot take.  And if I use prescription meds I am usually on 2 or 3 until the illness runs its course.  This product handles all my symptoms which usually clear in about 2-3 days when taking.  Started using this over 2 years ago and have not had any further problems with developing additional respiratory problems when I use Mucinex DM at the onset of cold symptoms.

I do have to remember to increase my intake of fluids while on this medication or I will get dehydrated.  As with any medication, I would caution people to not drive or operate machinery, etc while using it.  Although I have not had a problem with drowsiness, my son has.  While somewhat pricey, this medication is well worth the money and much cheaper than having to purchase several prescription medications.  I also only use the product until my symptoms are gone.
