Mr. Coffee Mr Coffee 12 Cup Coffee Maker Review

I love coffee but anymore it's getting harder and harder to find a really good coffee maker.  We've tried several brands.  Right now, we're using Mr. Coffee 12 cup coffee maker but it has some features that I'd rather it didn't.  This morning when I made coffee, I poured the water in and it started running out through the hole in the back.  It ran all over the cabinet and down onto the floor.  What is the purpose of having a hole in the back of the water tank?  It's very annoying to have to clean this up while rushing to get through the morning chaos.  This particular coffee maker is very hard to clean also.  The way the inside is designed, it's hard to get to all the grooves to clean them.  This had to be designed by a man because a woman would've known better.  That's what I figure about all kitchen appliances.  If a woman designed these things, they'd be easier to use, easier to clean and make life more simple.  Since men don't use or clean these things, it doesn't matter to them.
