Didn't last as long as our previous Mr Coffee

After just a little more than a year, this coffee pot went belly up.  Our previous Mr Coffee lasted more than 2 years.  One day, it started steaming the coffee grounds instead of dripping water through them.  I tried running vinegar through several times.  That didn't seem to help any.
