cstephens says "Inexpensive, but not top quality" about Mr. Coffee - Coffee Grinder DS77

I got the Mr. Coffee coffee grinder at Target for about $20. I was actually replacing a Braun that I had for several years that worked great. The Mr. Coffee grinder seemed to work well, but within two weeks, the interior plastic pieces broke off as the coffee was grinding and the machine basically destroyed itself and all the coffee inside. I returned it to Target and got a replacement which I have been using for the last month or so, and so far so good. I like how you can select how many cups you are grinding coffee for and the machine figures out how long to grind it. You can also set what type of grind you want. This makes it very convenient to always get a pretty good cup of coffee. With my previous machine, you really had to eyeball it to figure out how long to grind it, and sometimes that didn't always work out to give you the best product. I would recommend this as a starter grinder, but would really like to have something like the Braun for the future as I think...
...

nquiztr says "Easy to use, easy to clean." about Mr. Coffee - Coffee Grinder DS77

I purchased the Mr. Coffee coffee grinder to grind some coffee beans I got from Hawaii. Although I normally buy already grinded coffee, I find that this is the perfect addition to my coffee-making experience. It's very compact. I love that when it's not in use, there's a space under the grinder to store the cord. Makes for easy storage. The grinder works quit well. I've not had any issue with having any lumps of beans after grinding the coffee. Not that this is a fault, but I find that the cup measurements on the outside don't really do much for me. I add in the beans and grind till I get what I think I need for the coffee pot. I do like this machine. I've had it now for 4 years and not once had any issues. I love the ease of cleaning this too. The top part detaches and you can rinse the lid, grinder and holder separately. I have purchased this items for many wedding gifts and it's always a hit.
...

This is a nice, inexpensive coffee grinder. I usually drink one cup of coffee daily, so this meets my needs very well. You can grind up to 12 cups a time I believe. You can also select if you want the coffee ground fine, medium, or coarse, which the instructions explain what those settings are best used for. It is easy to clean and always clean very well in the dishwasher. I've had mine for about 1 year and haven't had any problems with it....

kajmak says "Decent value and some innovative features." about Mr. Coffee - Coffee Grinder DS77

I was looking for a quieter coffee grinder, since my old Braun one ground coffee OK but scared the cats and had me wearing ear-protection. I found this Mr. Coffee grinder in Wal-Mart, where I went to look for something that would work, not a top-of-the-line fancy machine.

The Mr. Coffee IDS77 has some nifty features that were new to me. You can select the grind and the number of cups, and there's a timer that shuts off the grinder when it's been long enough to grind the specified number of cups to the type of grind selected. Lucky for me, the default when you plug it in is medium grind and 12 cups, which is perfect for my automatic drip coffee maker (fine grind is for espresso, and coarse for French drip coffee pots). There's also a "max fill" line, and since I usually make a full pot, I just pour beans in to the max fill line instead of having to use measuring scoops and remember how many scoops I've put in.

This coffee grinder has a Chamber Maid (TM) cleaning system, which consists......
