I was looking for a quieter coffee grinder, since my old Braun one ground coffee OK but scared the cats and had me wearing ear-protection.  I found this Mr. Coffee grinder in Wal-Mart, where I went to look for something that would work, not a top-of-the-line fancy machine.

I got the Mr. Coffee coffee grinder at Target for about $20.  I was actually replacing a Braun that I had for several years that worked great.  The Mr. Coffee grinder seemed to work well, but within two weeks, the interior plastic pieces broke off as the coffee was grinding and the machine basically...

easy, simple to use-effective

This is a nice, inexpensive coffee grinder.  I usually drink one cup of coffee daily, so this meets my needs very well.  You can grind up to 12 cups a time I believe.  You can also select if you want the coffee ground fine, medium, or coarse, which the instructions explain what those settings are best used for.  It is easy to clean and always clean very well in the dishwasher.  I've had mine for about 1 year and haven't had any problems with it.

I purchased the Mr. Coffee coffee grinder to grind some coffee beans I got from Hawaii.  Although I normally buy already grinded coffee, I find that this is the perfect addition to my coffee-making experience.  It's very compact.  I love that when it's not in use, there's a space under the grinder to store the cord.   Makes for easy storage.  The grinder works quit well.  I've not had any issue with having any lumps of beans after grinding the coffee.  Not that this is a fault, but I find that the cup measurements on the outside don't really do much for me.  I add in the beans and grind...
