Mr. Coffee CG-12 Review

The cheap low end Mr. Coffee model CG-12 is a great value for the money. I can't see waisting money on a coffee maker that has a lot of bells and whistles. This coffee maker does what it was intended to do ( make coffee ) period. It doesn't tell you the time, nor does it have a timer to set brewing at a specif time.  The machine is quick enough making coffee. It takes a very few minutes to brew a pot. It is consistant in the quality of the brew. About once a month I run some vinegar water through it because we have a wee bit of hard water here. Clean up is quick and easy as well. The lid is detachable from the carafe making clean up of it a breeze. he filter basket is removable for cleaning as well. The water sump is wide enough to make cleaning that part easy as well. I think I paid less than thirty dollars for this one several years ago. In fact I have only had to purchase two Mr. Coffee machines in the past thirty years. Can't beat that for quality and service.
