If you or your family loves fresh brewed iced tea or drinks it by the gallon the Mr. Coffee 3 Quart Iced Tea Maker is a must have appliance for your kitchen. It is easy to set up, easy to use, reasonably priced, dishwasher safe and makes three quarts of tea that you can store in your refrigerator without the need for a new pitcher. It is long lasting and makes all sorts of teas from green or fruit flavored to southern style sweet tea. It makes tea within minutes so it great for entertaining. Jasyjen says, “It's a breeze to use and take care of.” Jaredswife says, “It makes short work of brewing a pitcher of iced tea and can easily be customized by the size/number of tea bags you use, amount of sugar, etc.” Be sure to empty it out and keep it dry as well as to follow the instructions regarding the small bit of assembly or end up with water all over your counter. I live in North Carolina, and in the South, we drink Sweet Tea!  It doesn't have to be summertime to enjoy a nice cold glass of Sweet Tea, it's the most requested beverage in our state.  Our family can go through A LOT of tea, so having Mr. Coffee's Iced Tea maker is essential in our home.

I love how fast it makes the tea. I hate how there is still water in the container after the tea is made. You had better remember to dump the water out or mold will grow. Didn't know it was broke and didnt dump the water out so my machine molded!  Now every time I use it I have to wait for most of... read full review »

Who needs Snapple or instant powder when you have this machine?
a homeowner, not a coffee snob, very happy with this product, not a soda drinker

I drink a lot of water throughout the day.  When I'm at work, I'm speaking almost non-stop for five 40-minute periods.  I keep a bottle of cold water close to me at all times to refresh my mouth and allow me to continue on with my lecture.  By the end of the day, I don't want to drink any more water.  I'm not a big fan of soda, either, so that pretty much leaves iced tea as the default drink.  We bought the Mr. Coffee 3-Quart Iced Tea Maker a couple of years ago so we could make our own rather than dealing with powders or expensive Snapple products.

I have lived in my house for 16 years. One of the first kitchen appliance I bought was a Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker. I don't like canned or bottled iced tea, nor do I like sugar or lemon in my iced tea.  I drink about two gallons a week, and it is all because of the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker.  It has been used at least twice a week for 16 years, and has never given me a day of trouble.  We have replaced all other appliances in the kitchen, big and small, some more than once.  But my iced tea maker just continues like it is still brand new.  With this kind of durability, maybe it should be endorsed... read full review »

My family loves to drink iced tea, especially my husband, who can make short work of a pitcher full of iced tea! I was raised all over the country (navy brat), but never really learned the art of iced tea. I married my husband, a true southerner, and this wedding gift was definitely what I needed. It makes short work of brewing a pitcher of iced tea and can easily be customized by the size/number of tea bags you use, amount of sugar, etc. This gadget is worth its space on  my counter!

I got this for making iced green tea which, other than coffee, is all I drink. It works very well, although one time I used it I did set it up wrong and it leaked all over my counter. Other than that one time though it's been great. I just got one for my mother in law for christmas and I think that it is reasonably priced.

If you enjoy ice tea, this machine is wonderful. It is simple and easy to use. The tea tastes wonderful! I love being able to make it right in the pitcher that can be placed in the fridge.
