The Mr. Coffee 12-cup Coffemaker RMX23 is a solid choice for the everday morning drinker. It has a nice sleek look, and fits easily under most hanging cabinets and won't take up too much space on your countertops. Some features include Pause and Serve, which allows the coffee maker to pour coffee while brewing. It also includes an automatic 2-hour shutoff (which is required for the forgetful ones). The basket is easily removed and refilled. This product was clearly designed for the basic coffee drinker looking to brew and drink quickly and often. There are also 2 water windows that help determine how much water is in the reservoir - this also aids to prep process for coffee. In summation, this product is recommended for non-nonsense coffee makers, it won't wow you with quality, but it sure gets you drinking coffee quickly with minimal downtime.

I have a Mr. Coffee and I use it every morning. Mine doesnt have a clock or a timer. The first time I used it, it made great coffee. I have had it for about 6 months and I have to constantly wash the filter and the drain hole to keep from clogging. The first time I washed it the lines and numbers came off so now I have to either use a measuring cup or guess at the amount of water I use.

My husband and I never drank coffee until we had kids, so when registering for our wedding, we did register for a coffee maker for when we had guests, but we just got a basic coffeemaker without a clock or timer. After having our first child, we discovered how wonderful it would be to have the coffee made and ready for you in the morning after getting up all night with an infant.  My mother bought us this 12 cup Mr. Coffee coffeemaker with a clock and timer.  It was great!  It is very easy to set up and to set the timer for your morning coffee.  I do not think it is the best coffeemaker in the world, especially if you are into gourmet coffee, but if you are like me and just want something easy, it is great.  Now, I only really drink coffee on the weekends, but set it up Friday night so Saturday morning, it is ready for me. My only gripes are that when pouring it, it tends to spill out a little and I also wish it used the regular coffee filters.  The cone-shaped ones are required for this machine and they are alittle more prone to the coffee grinds leaking out into the coffee if not set up just right than the regular filters.
